Baby #4

Wow I can't believe that I'm even writing this! 4 kids!!! Another baby is on the way! I can't even begin to write my emotions right now, and what is going on in my head! Lets back up to March. When I went to my sisters house for a girls weekend, she was pregnant, and after talking to her even before I went down, and thoughts and feelings she was having were the same I had been having. We don't necessarily want another child, but stop being selfish, were getting in shape, don't want to lose this body, (that isn't so amazing anyways) how can I do it, how is this going to work, ect. I come home from my sisters house and Juan picks me up from the airport and we have this conversation about my feelings, and he had gone to church with all 3 boys that Sunday, which is a miracle in itself for him to go alone, and he had the same feelings while at church that we needed to be unselfish and think about another baby. Well that's all it took. I took of my birth control patch and waited it out. All along I am still questioning myself and do I really want another one, Im to comfortable with our situation. But in the back of my head, I have 2 kids at school all day, respite hours for Damon, so why not? If we are meant to have a baby, then it will work itself out. Well here we are, June 9, and I just found out were pregnant! It took one month to get pregnant! This is a small miracle in itself because I don't get pregnant easily. So for me to get pregnant after one month and not even trying is amazing! I had to get meds for Damon at Fred Meyers, so I got a pregnancy test, used a self checkout because I feel like I would get looks with 3 kids and buying a pregnancy test. Ran for the bathroom, and it showed up fast! like in 10 seconds fast! I put the kids in the playland so I could gather my thoughts and my phone was dead! I wanted to call Juan! He can't believe it either! Another funny he brought up... we wanted to be done at 30, according to a due date calculator March 7! my bday is the 11th, and Juans the 22nd! We will both be 30! Kinda funny!

My parents brought a table that my dad made for a friend of mine like ours so they came down this past weekend! We got to see them two weekends in a row! They were able to come to our crossfit fundraiser and my dad brought his wood splitter down. We were so lucky this year to get a huge load of wood for cheap! It took us about 4 hours to use the splitter and get it all stacked! But now we are ready for winter!

Memorial Day Weekend

What do we do when we know there is a long weekend ahead and Juan doesn't have to work Monday? Well go to Washington of course! We love being able to get away for a little bit and enjoy the gorgeous area back "home" Juan enjoyed going out to a couple movies, XMen, and Godzilla. ZI enjoyed a little shopping with Heather, which we have made a tradition and then a late night stop to Aztecas which is also becoming a tradition. The main reason we also went down was a Memorial we had for my Great Grandma Zimmerman. It was fun to see a few uncles/aunts/cousins we haven't seen for while. My parents took the boys home with them afterwards so we could enjoy a little time out.

Saturday night we stayed out at my parents house and wouldn't you know that my dad would have some sort of creature that we would wake up to. This time they had a little Robin that had tried to fly from the nest to soon. Eventually the dog got them.
Keenan is getting some pretty good form on his bow and arrow. This is a major hotspot when everyone gets together!

Ana and her family came down on Monday before we headed home. They kids all loved playing together and Juan and Jose enjoyed shooting the big man bows. My dad had to come out and show the how its done. But for never shooting before, Juan did an awesome job! They were even shooting out at the road.

Sunday we had another BBQ with some family with more good food!

My dad is hands down the best Grandpa ever! He spends so much quality time with the grandkids and they all love him!

Now that we have more time for Respite workers we have been taking full advantage of doing things we aren't normally able to. A few Saturdays ago, we went hiking at Tryon State Park in Portland. One of the many things I love about living here in the Portland area is the closeness of so much stuff! For being in a big city, there is so much hiking to do! It was a perfect hike for the boys! After we went and got ice cream at McDonalds and went to the Nike store and out to dinner. It was such a fun day for us all!

My little Super Heros

These little boys seem to always steal my heart! They can be bugging me one minute and the next I want to just squeeze them! I wish that adults had the hearts and forgiveness that children do. I love that they always want to play with each other wrestling, on the trampoline, playing video games, coloring, always together. Niko gets so excited when I say its time to go get Keenan from school His reply is always "YAH" and when we pull up the the school he says, "Me, Me, Me" he wants to get out and go get him.
