Jayli had her first dance performance at a retirement home in North Logan. She loves dance, and loves to dress up. She was so excited to perform. For some reason she got really sad and was crying when I tried to take her picture before her performance. She didn't want anything to do with me or Jake or my mom. When she got out on stage she was so happy and spunky! She had the cheesiest smile on her face while she danced. She's the youngest in her class, but knows the dance perfectly. I know my opinion in biased but I think she was the cutest one. And the funnest to watch. She stole the show! Love watching her do things on her own and show us her skills.

Kynli 11 months
Kynli feels like a big girl now. For the past two weeks Kynli has been walking everywhere she goes. She doesn't really crawl at all anymore. And she's getting fast. She likes to pick things up and carry them around with her. Like a baby doll or a box or a blanket. She's really strong too. She can push the bar stools while Jayli is sitting on them! She has 3 teeth and is getting 3 more at the same time! She gets into everything. Always pulling things out of drawers and off shelves. Now that she's a little taller, she can climb onto more things now, like Jayli's bed. She's learning to come down feet first so she doesn't fall. Kynli has been really attached to me the last couple weeks. She just wants me. She even gives the sitter a hard time if I need to run somewhere. She does better if Jayli is in the room with her. I think she's just so used to being with me and Jayli all the time. She loves to take a bath with Jayli. She has this big belly laugh. Jayli does funny things all the time and it's fun to hear Kynli's laugh. Kynli still loves to eat. She doesn't really like to drink as much out of her bottle anymore. She'd rather just eat more food. I've even let her have some milk or chocolate milk out of her cup. The only thing I've found that Kynli doen't like very well is baby food from the jar and eggs. She'll still eat a few bites but would rather have what I'm eating. Lately she's been trying to use the spoon to feed herself. I'll put a little bit of food on it and hand it to her and she can usually make it in her mouth. I've taken the girls to the park a couple times this spring and Kynli loves the swing! She get's mad when I try to take her out. I'm so excited to play this summer. The girls are going to have so much fun!

Go Jazz
We had tickets to the Jazz/ Grizzly's game. This time we took both girls. Kynli was a little wiggly but she loved the snacks we bought. We stayed at the Seasons that night and had a yummy brunch before we drove home.

Easter
We had such a fun Easter weekend this year in Highland. We drove down Saturday morning for Tyce's first birthday. Tiff threw such a cute breakfast party. He is such a cutie pie. It's so fun to see Kynli and Tyce interact. Later that night we let the kids dye eggs. Then we all drove to a beautiful spot for family pictures. The next morning was Easter. The girls opened their easter baskets and a little gift. Jayli got a new scooter and Kynli got a book from shutterfly about her and Jayli. We watched conference and relaxed. Later we went to the Armstrongs' to play and see the bunny and chick they were "babysitting." :) After the afternoon session of conference we had a big Easter dinner and then let the kids have an Easter egg hunt. Right before we left for home rolled eggs down the street. Jayli thought that was really fun!

Spring Pictures
We were all dressed up to take family pictures with Jake's family. So we decided to take a couple of the 4 of us. Thanks Jentry. Always fun trying to get a couple decent pictures with these yahoos. Silly girls... I love this group.

Baby Animals
I took the girls to see the baby animals at the American West Heritage Center. I knew Jayli would love the animals, but I didn't know Kynli would enjoy it so much! She was trying to climb right out of my arms and over the fence to get to anything we saw. Both girls loved the train rides of course. So fun to see their little faces light up. We took a break in the middle of the day to get some lunch and let Kynli have a nap. We played at the park for a bit until Kyn woke up. Then we went back and Jayli got to have a pony ride. She was telling the pony, "yee haw! Giddee up Sparky!" haha We held the baby ducks and chicks and rode the train one more time.
