On Saturday we were invited to a birthday party for Jon's co-worker's son at the Moorpark College Teaching Zoo. We had a great time, unfortunately Haley doesn't really appreciate the zoo yet, so she'd look quickly at an animal & then she was off! We spent most of our time chasing her around, but we still had fun. Happy Birthday Diego!

12 Month Check Up

So today Haley had her 1 year check up & it went great, because she's been sick on and off for about a month now, we held off on her vaccinations for another couple weeks, so no shots today! She weighed in at a whopping 22.6lbs (75th percentile), she's 30 1/2" tall (85th percentile) & her head measured in the 90th percentile, what a big girl!!! Her doctor said she's ahead in her language development, around that of an 18 month old, so that made us proud, it's all those darn books she demands we read to her ALL day. I'm telling you, she's a bookaholic, it's ridiculous!

She also LOVES running around in the backyard, so here are some of her latest pictures doing just that.

Haley's 1st Birthday!!

On Saturday our little angel turned ONE!!! I can't believe it, it seems just yesterday she was a little speck on the ultrasound photo and now she's just such an amazing little person. We love her more each day & are blessed with an overwhelming amount of joy that she brings into our life. I can't put into words how much she means to me & how much I love being her mommy.

Now, enough with the sappy stuff & on to the party! On Saturday we had friends and family over for some birthday party fun. Haley really enjoyed having so many other little people around & it turned out to be a very fun and playful day. We were so thankful for everyone who came & celebrated with us, it was truly a special day.
