This weekend, Dad, Lesa, and "big" Edward came to visit. We had lots of fun!Lesa and John managed to stay out of all the pictures!!! We rode the tram to Sandia Peak. The temperature at the top was 28 and the wind was very blustery!!! We ate lunch and enjoyed the view! The rest of the time, we just played around at home. The boys really enjoyed the company. Big Edward was a hit with both boys. Papaw and Lesa brought lots of goodies for the boys. William loved the candy the best! He also loved his Indian costume! We had a great visit and we can't wait to see them again for Christmas!!!!

New Running Equipment!

I've found a new running buddy and we are so excited to be back into the morning workout scene! The problem is that it is still VERY dark when we run, so we went and got headlamps to wear. Yes, like a coal miner. Hilarious, but it works great!!!! I'm hiding it from William because I know he would take it and I would never see it again!

The other necessity on our morning runs is a starbucks drink when we finish! We park in the Starbucks parking lot and I will tell you I am so excited when we are done so we can get our little treat! I don't even drink coffee, but I am getting hooked on the skinny lattes!!! I've tried the vanilla and can't wait for Friday when I'm going to try the caramel!!!

Well, Edward has been getting some new teeth and I thought I would share the pics! No wonder he has been a bit cranky lately!!!! He is also walking more and more every day. He still chooses to crawl most of the time, but it won't be long! He is also mostly off of the bottle. I still give him one when all the sippy cups are dirty. :(

So, this is the one day a year that John and I cheer against each other in football. It's a bitter sweet day in our household. I decided to be fair and put the boys in opposing school jerseys. William chose Razorbacks, so Edward got to wear his Auburn jersey. Now, of course, I didn't get to see much of the game because I was trying to entertain the boys. They don't play well together yet, so I'm always pulling Edward off of William's toys.

I'm very proud of my Razorbacks, but I will say that I would much rather get a win over Alabama, not Auburn. Oh, well. Tomorrow, I will be an Auburn fan again, at least until next October rolls around!!!!

More Balloon Fiesta!!!! We love it!!!!!

This is what we have been seeing this week when I drive William to school in the mornings. Today, we saw some special shapes balloons land right in front of us in an open field. I stopped the car and let William watch some really cute balloons up close. He loved the sunshine, Franklin the turtle, and the pink balloon. I didn't get good pictures from my phone, so I stole this one off of the balloon fiesta website. We are going to try to go see the Balloon Glow tonight if John gets off work in time! We are really trying to soak all of this in while we are here!

This past weekend we had my grandmother, mom, and aunt here to visit! We had a great time eating out, shopping and just hanging out together! Enjoy the pictures!

This weekend we went to our first Balloon Fiesta! It was incredible! John, William, my Aunt Ruthie and I all got up VERY early to see the first balloons acend before sunrise. Then, later that morning, all 570 balloons took off and it was so neat! William was so excited to see a pink balloon. He also loved the cow balloon and the bumble bees. We tried to go to the night balloon glow, but it was called off due to high winds.

We had lots of visitors. My mom, my grandmother "granny", and my mom's sister, Ruthie all flew out on Thursday. We had a great weekend. Mom is still here and I will post more pictures soon.
