- I am attempting to write at least one poem a day for the National Poem Writing Month. Today is Day 22 of the 30, you can see my progress here, NaPoWriMo 2021.
- Write a poem using a Metonymy and I wanted to write also for the observance of "Earth Day" in my writing today. Earth Day represents more than just a holiday. It represents out of the ordinary action that one doesn't ordinary do for the purpose of making and keeping our Earth the fine place it physically is.
- Metonymy (/mɛˈtɒnəmi/)[1] is a figure of speech in which a thing or concept is referred to by the name of something closely associated with that thing or concept.[2] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metonymy
