When we’re young, we hope to grow faster to be an adult,
When we’re old, we wished back our childhood life.
I really agree that when we get older,
Every year,
Every day,
Every hour,
Every minute,
Every second,
Our lives filled with more complexity,
People’s heart and mind are getting hard to understand,
Our lives have more problems,
It’s getting tough to differentiate what is right or wrong,
More choices to choose,
More decisions to make,
More responsibilities awaits,
Jealousy, hatred, and doubts are popping out all over.
From young, I always wished to lead a simple, peaceful life.
I am willing to reside to a corner of a country,
I don’t mind if I’m rich,
Just enough to keep my life going will do,
I don’t need many friends,
Just true, valuable friends to keep me accompanied will do,
I don’t want to be popular and being a part of girl’s craze,
Just a girl willing to share her whole life with will do.
It’s a simple wish from a simple guy
I am just a simple guy trying to live a simple life.

A Walk to Remember
Sorry for late post. Finally, I’m back from NATCON (National Convention) at UKM after spending 9 days 8 nights. Some people asked me what was the conference all about. Some people asked me what I did there for so many days. NATCON is just a part of the AIESEC event in the calendar where all the EB (Executive Board) from seven different LC (Local Chapter) attended. Counting from the northern region, there goes UUM and USM, towards the central region where UPM, UKM, UM, and TUC (Taylor’s University College) are there, ending at the southern region where the one and only UTM is there.
Let me remind you again. Do you remember me saying that I joined AIESEC in my university in a blog post before? Sometimes I had a tough time putting my words to define AIESEC when people asked me about it. When I said it’s a student organization, you might think it’s a company. Haha! Technically, this is how AIESEC defined:
Sounds very dry to you? Literally, in my own opinion, AIESEC is a global student organization which provides a learning platform for their members to make positive impact to the society. For your information, I have been a part of AIESEC for almost a year now. Looking back to the past where I started my journey as a tertiary student and an AIESECer, I guess I had very much changed in different sides of myself. Besides, loads of things had changed along the journey. This journey is simply enriching and eye-opener for me. Having a few commitments in hand as a part of Accounting Society board and AIESEC EB, yes, I am always occupy with a lot of works, where people might labeled me as a workaholic and a person with no life. I won’t force all of you to understand what I’m trying to do but just hoping all of you will do.
Being an accounting student is already a big burden for me to bear plus all the commitments I had to give. Life is not going easy with me. I must admit that through AIESEC, I get to know more friends. Imagine this if we’re not in AIESEC, it’s quite impossible to know you and for sure, you won’t be reading my blog here and vice versa. I had forgotten how we met and when the emotional bonds are created but one thing for sure is I never regret knowing all of you as friends even if I hate everything I’m doing now. Thank you for your supports and beliefs in my abilities when I’m on the verge of giving up. Because of that, I still keep holding on. Again, thank you.
PS: “I know that I’m not a good leader and the best person for this position. Among all the vice presidents, I’m the weakest of all. Sorry I wanted to say. What I can promise all of you is I’ll do what I can. Forgive me if I’m wrong. Guide me if I’m lost.”
Silly as I am.

Its members are interested in world issues, leadership and management. AIESEC does not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, gender, sexual orientation, creed, religion, national, ethnic or social origin”

Doom and Gloom
Finally, the results were out. Not to mention, it turned out to be even worse than I expected. It was hard to accept this cruel fact that I fare extremely bad which caused me a dean list. Getting to know that most of my course mates did very well, it put me even more miserable than ever. I wished to cry out my sadness but sadly, the feeling just stuck deep bottom of my heart. I thought my tears will come rushing down from the moment I see the results from the screen but it didn’t happen. Probably my mind and soul already ready for it. In the previous post, I did state that I got C+ for one of my midterm papers. Even C+ also I can get, I guess this results were already expected. Sad or not, there is nothing left to be done. The results still remain unchanged even if I moaned for the rest of my life. Looks like it left me no choice but to keep improving my grades for semesters to come. Like I said, the show must go on even though there are unseen catch along the way. It’s time to leave the past behind and move forward. Starting new semester, I have a lot work to do besides putting more time into my studies. Looks like the workloads will keep bugging me for another year. Tough year ahead I guess. Hopefully, there will be someone who willing to walk with me throughout this journey. I’m waiting for you.
