Sounds interesting, but I said that my blog is not active, I did not updated it for months ..
She said it's OK, this is your chance to reactivate the blog ... oh well .. she's right ..

So  The rule for this blog hop is simple, you just have to answer these 4 questions ... *it's not that simple for me ... huhuhu ...*

1. What am I working on ?

Oh well .. I am a person who want to do a lot of things ... 

I always have more than one project .. eerrr .. one crochet, one knitting, one quilting, one sewing ... hahaha  ...

These are my WIP for the moment :

1. Gryffindor shawl for my son

He will have hallowen party at school the end of this month, and the teacher said that this year the house will be like in Harry Potter's school. And he will be in Gryffindor's house, so he ask me to knit this shawl .... 

2. Ginko shawl

This shawl is actually the KAL project with Indonesian knitter for last month, since I was doing my Haruni shawl I didn't start casting on until my Haruni was finish, so while all my friends are finish their project, I just started it ... and now, doing my son's shawl make me pending  this ginko again ... 

3. Sewing Project collaborating with friend

My friend and I have a dream to compose a craft book, and we working hard on it. Sorry can not tell now, just hope that we can make our dream come true..

4. and some other projects that I almost forget hahaahha ....

2. How does my work differ from others of its genre ?

I think my works are not as different with others, I don't have a signature art work or any specialties.

I like simple design, bright colors ..

3. Why Do I Create What I do?

Why ? the answer is definitely because I like it ... I like what I am doing ..

I enjoy the process of choosing design, material and happy when it's done ... 

For these past 8 years I often give my handmade as a gift for friend, they know it's my handmade, they like it and I am even happier when they like what I made.

My friends knew me as a crafter, they always ask if I made the stuff myself, even if it's look impossible for me to make it they always ask ... do you make it yourself ? hahaha ...

4. How Does My Creative Process Work ?

Usually it starts with a specific purpose, for example I want to make a blanket as a gift for a friend's newborn baby or I want to make a bag for my son's art equipment.

So I have to decide what color to choose, what material to use, what type of design and sometimes just follow my mood.

It's not that easy though, choosing color and design may take days to decide as I have a medley of different types of fabric and yarn. 

I always want to do my best, and try to finish the project as soon as possible .. even though  some of it may be postponed due to another new project I have to finish first.

Sometimes I make my own design, for this process I make the design first, and look for the material, comparing here and there, adding this and adding that ... I really like this process .. although sometimes it's very frustrating also  ...

Well ... that's about me and my hobby.. 

It's my turn to tag my creative friends now ... 

who will it be ? I did not visit any blogs recently, ever since there is Facebook I am more active in facebook rather than in blog.

But I try to tag these very talented ladies to joint the fun..

What am I doing all this time ? Well I did some handmade stuff but mostly just busy with daily activities.

Ramadhan, Raya,School holidays .. busy ..busy .. busy ..

But ... I manage to finish all these until last September ..

Don't know... suddenly want to make the fair isle hat, and just zoooommm... made this one..

It's 'Kupluk' means hat in javanese.

Needle : 4,5mm DPN

Triangular Scarf in Leaf Pattern

This is my first triangular scarf knitting lace...

It was our KAL in Dynamic crocet-knit group, the pattern is from Thata's book which I don't remember what book is it...

Using 4mm (or 4,5 ? ) sircular needle and 2 balls of ICTS cotton thread from Thalenta...

Finished size should be bigger than this, just because I only have 1 ball and Thata said that it will be anough for small version so I just have a go... but then .. it's not enough...

Thanks to Fenny, she still got the only one ball for this colours...

I am so happy with it, and plan to make another triangular shawl... which is bigger... (cross my finger...) someday...he..he..

Cozy Mug - KAL with DC friends

Alhamdulillah semangat merajut hadir kembali.... yyeeeaayyy... yiippiiieee...

ON the way to Singapore liburan Chinese New Year kemarin selesai juga si Cozy Mug ini.
Suka sama polanya yang complete..

Lama banget gak merajut, entah itu knitting ataupun crochet... gak tahu kenapa ya tahun kemarin akhir akhirnya kok jadi pamalesan bener...

Cukup lengkap isinya, ada row counter, small crochet hook, meteran, gunting lipat, point protector, markers dan darning needle... complete buat dibawa jalan...

Climbing Vines Pullover

Alhamdulillah... finally finish..

I think I started to do it in 2009 because the pattern is from Interweave Knitting winter 2008 edition.. that was so long time ago..

The pattern is simple, just stockinette stitch, but that is the most boring one...

Anyway, dari pattern yang ada banyak yang aku sesuaikan dengan ukuranku.

Di bagian pinggang harusnya ada decrease untuk membentuk garis pinggang tapi yang ini aku biarkan los aja ke bawah, lurus dan lebar.

Panjang pullover juga aku panjangin dikit, soalnya di pattern pendek banget, so the vine pattern jadinya kepotong gitu... still need more practice for that..

Panjang tangan juga aku panjangin, jadinya karena kelamaan lupa berapa panjang yg kiri dan pas ngerjain yg kanan jadi bingung... waduh panjangnya berapa row ya...?? ha..ha..

Yang penting sih selesai juga akhirnya... alhamdulillah...

New born baby hat

wow... it's February now.. time does really fly...

not doing many knitting or crocheting lately...

I have UFO sweater yang tinggal bikin satu lagi tangannya aja tapi maleeeeeessss banget nyelesaiinnya, UFO ungu yang dulu yang gak semangat lagi bikinnya... atau kita unravel aja ya ganti ke project lain...?

Ada banyak project quilt yang tinggal nyambung...

Smocking yang tinggal dikiiiiiiittt lagi..

beberapa project crochet, tas yang tinggal bikin liningnya, top yang sudah setengah...

Oh... bener bener I am an unorganized crafter....

Anyway, ada temen melahirkan, a baby boy... dua topi ini buat dede Faruq, Merry's newbabyborn. Mudah mudahan cukup.

These past two weeks was my sons spring break holiday... well you know, when the boys're at home means I couldn't do my crafty thing.

So these past two weeks I only manage to do these...

----> hi..hi.. alasan ajah... padahal lagi males juga... moodnya nyungsep entah kemana....

Add some crochet for the sleeve as I cut it too short...

Machine embroidery...

I cut my jeans too short, so I opened the seam and add this machine embroidery...

This one is our KAL with my DC group, should be a baby hat, but I think it's too small for a babyhat so I make it as my lens pouch....

The colour is so nice, isn't it ?

Vine Stitch Wrap

The pattern is from Vogue Knitting on the go Shawl... Vine Stitch Wrap.

Should be six coloum pattern but I only make 4, smaller. I use Indonesian yarn, not sure what kind of yarn it is, and 4mm Pony sircular needle. After finishing one ball of yarn I started to get bored... *sigh..* so just add a bit more and stop it.

Maybe I just use it as a shoulder warmer (is it the right name ?) instead of shawl or wrap.

well I have some other projects actually, they are all crochet, and maybe I will share them with you later.

The purple one is a top from Japanese book which, as always, I don't understand a single words. But the pattern is so beautiful and since I am very easy to get bored so I choose project with many kind of stitches...

I am using MIAMI - Four Season Yarn, it's cotton and it's so soft. I like this yarn much.

And the grey one is a shawl, the pattern is from Vogue Knitting on the go Shawl - Vine Stitch wrap. I used Indonesian yarn for this shawl, I don't know what kind of yarn it is, I think it's wool.

I don't know when I can finish them... just do it lah...
