Our trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Ohhhh Mexico! Jay and I went on a wonderful four-day trip to Cabo at the beginning of the month. It was paradise to be away from the winter cold and walking together on the beach. We stayed at a nice all-inclusive resort (yummy food) and did some really fun activities. We went on a Sunset boat cruise, did an outdoor zip line adventure course, went parasailing (Yikes!), and did some exploring of the beaches. Usually I have a hard time leaving the kids and am in a hurry to get home, but I have to admit that we were both reluctant to come home. We went with other couples from Jay's work and also enjoyed getting to know them better. Definitely the best part was that it was FREE!!

Downtown Disney!

Our little princess was very cute in the Bibbidee Boubidee Boutique. She was enamored with the Princess dressups and chose to get a Tinkerbell gymnastic leotard. They had this amazing princess make over with a dress, hair, makeup and nails for only $175.00. Who can afford that? I am so glad she was happy with her leotard. When she saw herself in the mirror she exclaimed, "I am adorable!"

The Lego store was also a hit at downtown Disney. They had buckets full of legos to make your own kit and Zach and Michaela made JT a kit for his birthday. He also bought a Lego backpack which he loves! As you can see there was some fun bonding moments.

A Day at the Beach!

After flying all day long on Saturday, we went to church on Sunday in Orlando and then headed to Cocoa Beach. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed a long walk to the pier and back. We were glad to have my sister Emily with us for a few days of our trip. Having three adults for three kids was ideal. JT was busy drawing R2D2 in the sand and chasing seagulls, Zach loves the waves and philosophizing about the world, and Michaela collected so many shells she tried to even carry some between her toes.
