This week brought great news from both of Jason's doctors. On Tuesday his jaw doctor cut the wires on his mouth and replaced them with elastics. He can only open his mouth about 1/2" and it is very tender, but it is a start. He is ready for mashed potatoes and gravy. He also visited the other surgeon who screwed his face back together and he was amazed at how quickly he was recovering. About one to two months above schedule. (What Jason didn't tell him were the reasons why. We believe it is all the prayers, Herbal Life shakes and nutrition, and essential oils he has been using.) He is looking forward to having another surgery about the end of July to take some of the screws out that are poking up under the skin. We continue to see amazing help from family and friends. Shamra Ward is really a go getter and is getting donations from many places for the house. It is starting to pick up and we still need help to finish it, hopefully by August. We are caulking and sanding so the painting can go forward next week. Jason is up working, trying to get all the moulding cut, but he gets tired easily. Hopefully we can have him be more of a supervisor through the rest of project. Thanks for all of your concern.

Each Day a Milestone
We are so grateful that Rachel came into Jason's life. They are definitely equally yoked. While this accident happened to Jason, it also has changed Rachel's life too. She has been as amazingly resiliant as Jason. While Jason's injuries have been physical, Rachel has had the emotional roller-coaster to deal with. They are both recovering against all the odds. Jason (who sounds a little like Darth Vader, because you can hear him breathe through the hole in his throat) is doing quite well. We just have to keep on him to drink, drink, drink. But the good news after he visited the doctor yesterday was that they will assess him next week and may replace the wires in his mouth with elastics. This will allow him a little movement. Yea! food may be in sight, well soft food anyway. They also took the staples out of his head. Now he can comb his hair! Rachel, on the otherhand, continues to make lemonade out of the lemons that have been handed to her. Today is Jason & Rachel's 3rd Anniversary and while it may not be a real romantic day, we want them to know we are happy that we have them both in our lives. These obstacles in life are only temporary and are stepping stones to eternal joy that is in store for them as they continue to allow God to refine and purify them.

ALRIGHTY-THEN!! &THANK YOU!!
So I did some checking around and had a few conversations and have chosen not to set up the "Donate" button. Supposedly there is a lot of red tape you have to deal with that we didn't want to burden Jason and Rachel with. So the easiest way to Donate through Paypal is to either click the link below Jason's picture to the right under "How to Donate" or this link: http://www.paypal.com/
Still click the SEND MONEY TAB, then use jasonsmiraclegame@yahoo.com as the TO: email address. If you still have problems leave a comment and we apologize for the inconvenience.
Jason and Rachel want everyone who has shared their dollars and donated to the game (and you know who you are) to know how truly grateful they are to you. Miracles are still happening and the game is gaining stream. We are still a while out from the goal of 1 million, but wonderfully generous people like those who have already donated continue to share, we have faith that it will be reached. For safety purposes Jason and Rachel have chosen not to disclose an actual $amount, but for those of you who are good at math, we just figured that the total donations thus far are about .004% of 1 mill. The actual $ figure sounds and looks better but here you go.
Thanks again for all of your love, support and prayers shared and offered in Jason's behalf. Miracles are manifesting daily in his life and the life of his family. We Love You!!!

sorry folks
Well again it sounds like we have a link problem with being able to donate. The Paypal link in the previous post isn't working, but you can copy/paste the address and go directly to Paypal and follow the instructions from there. Sorry it's a few more steps. I just read on paypal about an actual "Donation" button, so I will see what I can do about imiplementing that. Please be patient. Thank you so much for wanting to join our game and donate. You will be blessed for your support. I'll post a new update when we get the button option figured out.

He's Outta There
The best news of all!!!
Jason was discharged today (Saturday 31st) from the hospital, after only 11 days. Another miracle, as they were told he would be there for three weeks. They took out his pic line and the trake this morning and he can breathe a little from his nose, his mouth and the hole in his throat. The only way he can talk is to cover the hole with his finger. It will close on it's own in three to four days. Our bodies are so amazing, and most of us take them for granted. Jason and Rachel want to let everyone know they have been overwhelmed with gratitude for the outpouring of love and prayers in their behalf. While this has been two of the hardest weeks in their lives, they have been buoyed up by everyone's generosity and support. Thank you from the bottom of their hearts. Our next problem will be to keep Jason from doing too much. He will still have his jaw wired for six more weeks, so he will have to be real creative with his shake recipes. Hopefully we can keep some weight on him. There will be time and the doctor is really optimistic things will continue to heal.
Thanks again for all your love.

Donations-Patience
It has recently come to our attention that Zion's is NOT a nation wide bank, so those of you who so generously want to join our game and give a donation are having a little trouble doing so. If you could please give us your patience we will work on getting the problem remedied. As soon as we find another option we will post it here and in the game section. Thank you for donations-to-be and your patience. You will be blessed for your service. Check back soon.
