Life so far in 2011

Life has been good so far this year. Jason started another semester of school and he got an A on his first test! Yeah Jason! Logan is still loving preschool. He is making new friends and learning how to socialize and get along with other kids. Kaylee is growing up so fast. She is going to be such a tease. She likes to grab Logan and pull on his shirt and make him scream and cry. And then she giggles about it. It is kinda funny to watch. It is a good thing she isn't mobile yet or Logan would be in trouble. Sometimes Logan will play with her and make her laugh and it is just so cute! I am glad they have each other to play with. I have been busy with the usual things....playing with the kiddos, cooking, cleaning, laundry all the fun stuff. :)
Last week we had 2 really nice days and we all went on a walk. It was so nice to enjoy the outdoors and fresh air! But then the next day it got REALLY cold. It was
-38 degrees one morning with a windchill of -50. So we have been stuck inside for awhile. I am ready for a couple of nice day again. I am sure they will come soon....probably in June or July! I haven't taken many pictures lately but here are a couple cute ones I took for Valentine's Day cards.

We are still here!

It has been forever since I posted here. But we are still alive and doing well. Jason is almost done with school for the semester. It will be nice to have a break until January. Logan has been going to preschool in the mornings and he loves it! He is learning shapes and letters and he has a couple of friends. He is starting to act so grown up! The other night he was supposed to be in bed and he comes downstairs and says to me "It's okay Mom, cool down, I just want to talk!" It was so funny I of course had to let him talk. Kaylee is growing up so fast. She is almost 9 months old already! She refuses to crawl or even stay on her belly, and she isn't interested in walking around furniture or anything. She is pretty content to just sit and play with her toys and watch Logan run around. And she loves food! If she sees anyone eating anything she yells until she gets something in her mouth. She is so funny and so sweet we just love her. I have been keeping busy with some sewing projects and the usual laundry and house cleaning stuff. So enough talk about us here are some pictures of the last few months.

Kaylee Rae Cory

She's Here!!
Kaylee Rae was born on March 10, 2010. She weighed 7 1bs 3.5 oz and was 19.5 inches long. She was born at 5:52 am. So Jason and I didn't get much sleep and then Jason even made it to his afternoon class that day. It was the first day of that class so he really didn't want to miss it. Logan has adjusted very well so far. He gives her kisses all the time and says " I wuv you". When Kaylee cries Logan asks her "what's the matter" and then when she quits crying he says "all better". He is so cute with her. The first couple of days he wanted to sit in her carseat and he still likes to use all of her blankets. He thinks they are his, but there are plenty of blankets for both of them.
Kaylee is the best baby! I feel so lucky! She hardly ever cries and she eats very well. At night she will sleep 4-5 hours!! It is so nice. Logan doesn't even sleep that well at night. :( Hopefully he grows out of that soon.
She is 2 weeks old today and weighs 7lbs 9 oz and is 19 and 3/4 inches long. She is growing so fast. She is such a sweetie and I am so thankful she is a part of our family.

Ultrasound went well!!!

Yesterday I had an ultrasound. I have a dvd but couldn't get it to upload. I don't have a scanner so I couldn't scan any pictures either so you will all have to wait until the baby is born to see pictures. I am sure she will be cuter than anyway. That's right those of you who guessed a girl were CORRECT! We are really excited to meet this little girl. I am sure she will bring new and exciting experiences to our family. We are still thinking on a good name for her. She may be 1 day old before she gets a name. That is what happened with Logan. We will have to see.

Another Mountain Drive

This is another drive we took to the mountains. It was gorgeous!! We saw 6 moose, all bulls and lots of little lakes and ponds. Then we found a picnic area and barbequed some cheesy brats and just enjoyed the outdoors and eachother.

Fisher Family Reunion at Flaming Gorge

We went to Flaming Gorge for the Fisher Family Reunion and to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. It was fun and freezing!! Luckily we didn't have to sleep in tents because it was kinda rainy and windy. We managed to go rafting on the Green River though. This is the first crew that went down. It was very cold when they went, I think it was cloudy and 50 degrees. I think Shawn got the wettest on that trip. I went on the second run and the sun was shining and it was a lot warmer. I don't have any pictures of that though.

This was where we were when a few family members felt a buzz on the top of their heads all at the same time. I guess that is what they get for being that high, out in the open and by a metal fence during a lightening storm. :)
