Strongest Man in Town
One of the fun events was watching the Strong Man Competition.

My brother David got 2nd place, cousin Jon got 3rd, and Joseph and Daniel tied for 4th.
Sun Run... and Walk
Our 4th of July started with a little race. It was fun to run with so many friends and family.

Avery said she would only run if I did. I said I would walk it so she said she would too. Well she ended up running most of it. Ben wanted to come last minute but was too shy to run until the second half. I was just trying to keep him running to the finish line.

A good laugh today- sunny in the fence
I noticed Ginger and Charlie out but when I went to put them back in I was surprised by this site. I don't know how long he was stuck here but it couldn't have been too long. I just got a good laugh out of this chubby guy getting stuck in the fence. The other two little horses slipped out just fine. Poor boy was wedged in pretty good.

In reverse order this is a photo log of a day on the farm. We took lots of pictures as it was Holly's family's last day here. They left early the next morning

Moving the pony and minis is a daily chore too. Every morning and night we take them from the dry pen to the pasture and back in the evening. The kids are good at this job and I appreciate their help every single day.
It was a full day but we have been so blessed to spend a whole month with cousins that live across the US. The Jensens moved to their new home in Wyoming the next day. We will miss you.

Another reward for getting all the jobs done is a trip to Grandpa's pond! Even on cold days the kids LOVE it!
Popsicles for doing weeding on last time before the Jensens leave. One of our jobs done daily is 1 hour of weeding and strawberry and raspberry picking until it is done. The reward is a Popsicle.

My first time at a Bed and Breakfast
My sister-in-laws parents are building this beautiful B&B and so even though her baby is but a few weeks old she invited me and my siblings up for a relaxing weekend at the end of June. We traveled about 6-7 hours to the Montana mountains. Even though I never heard of Darby before it was such a beautiful area and a fun experience. Here is the gorgeous home they built.

Penny is due in less then a month, Benny is just big. j/k
Playing in the field behind the B&B. We enjoyed long walks, football, exploring and checking out the local antique stores.
Each room has a theme and is decorated beautifully. Even though the B&B isn't open yet it sure felt like a B&B experience. Being the only single in the group I got moved from room to room as another couple or a spouse would arrive. I got to stay in the Safari room (above), Cowboy room and Chalet. All were gorgeous!
The huge kitchen where we spent plenty of time. Thanks Lacey for all that yummy food.
This place was amazing!
A siblings shot. The one sad thing (besides my husband missing) was that my brother and his family didn't make it. We had planned together been excited about it and they even drove half way up there but their car had problems and they had to turn around. We sure missed them. It wasn't the same without them.

George and his beautiful girls. Lacey was amazing. She planned the whole trip and was the head chef for every meal. I doubt you could get this good of food and service at a normal B&B.
