The backyard

YUMMY BBQ

"The Gates"
This has been Justin's new project. We needed a gate to complete the fence around the pool and so Justin looked up some pictures and then went to town. They were some serious work but well worth it. We are all pretty impressed that the whole thing was put together without a single nail or screw and he made them super cheap. If you didn't know already I am sure you are starting to see who the talented one is in the family.
We also decided to stain the stairs and for those that don't know the rest of the woodwork was Justin's project two summers ago. It has been nice to come here and enjoy his handywork.

1... 2... 3... JUMP!

The kids had fun this weekend in the pool and getting extra time with grandma and grandpa.

Garden

I don't know if the nets keep out any squirrels but it sure keeps the kids tied up. Here is the updated photo of our garden. We love it!

Temple

Today we had a great family trip to the Washington DC Temple.

Kids

We decided to go straight to the source of all these dirty clothes. Don't worry Payton gets the other laundry hamper all to himself. Here is our chubby baby.

Cars

Ok so here is the deal. Our neighbor loves toys. He has it all: a mini helicopter, little race car, pocket rocket motorcycle, remote control lawnmover and he used to drive a real stock car to work, so he is way into toys. Well probably because Payton is one of the only boys on the block this neighbor stopped by and said he had a surprise for Payton. When we went over there he handed him this souped up truck and said now they can race them. Well we have been trying to practice and the whole family has fun with this. (As you can see with Avery) But even with this thing put on slow it can get up to 25 miles per hour. Talk about speed. I don't think we will turn up the dial. Payton alread crashed it into our other neighbors police car. Luckily it didn't scratch his car and the whole front of the truck was able to be popped out. To bad big cars don't just pop right back into shape. But we all have had fun racing and jumping this toy.
