Roth Randoms - August

Random pics from the month of August

These two are seriously the cutest

Madison is really into cup stacking so Reagan decided to try it out too!

The second annual Daddy Daughter campout!

 McKinley took a little tumble

Reagan is super shy and most people find it tough to get a smile out of her but she really can light up the room when she wants to!

This boy LOVES to brush his teeth. No one's toothbrush is safe in our house!

A little rain dance

Evidently Madison sat on a discarded sucker and it ended up in an interesting location :)

 Oodles of zoodles!

Star Student

And star little brother

Reagan was so proud of this picture she colored

Channeling their inner Madison Keys while watching the US Open

I watch this little boy on occasion and he LOVES Madison!

Dirky Boy

This boy is just so dang cute I can't help share it with the world!

This is his new favorite perch to hang out and eat snacks

Just a bit of Mommy's lipstick

Someone thinks he's a big boy

Those are his sister's pj shorts

Again in Reagan's pajamas and Daddy's socks

And Mommy's lipstick on his eye to complete the look

He LOVES sharing Daddy's smoothies in the morning

Reagan always reads books in the car while we wait to pick up the big girls from school so Dirk had to start reading as well

I have no words

Pioneer Park

We took advantage of Jordan's Wednesday mornings off one day and went up to Mesa to check out the progress of the temple renovation and play at the new and improved Pioneer Park! The park is kinda crazy - it had a HUGE 3-story slide and a bunch of other big elements. It definitely wasn't very Dirky friendly but Reagan loved it!! The temple was ... sad. All the beautiful gardens and landscaping all around is gone and the temple itself is just a shell with huge tubes running into it for the renovation. The site is covered in dirt and rubble. It made me so sad to see it that way. I know it will be beautiful in the end and it's all good but right now it's just a building, not a house of God.

Wedding Weekend

One of my brothers got married in Idaho and I got to fly up there for the weekend ALONE!!!!!!!!!!! Don't get me wrong, I love my kiddos, but what a treat to spend two days without kids! It was awesome and I'm super grateful to Jordan for holding down the fort. When we first planned the trip, I just assumed I would take Dirk since he still flies for free, but Jordan was like, no way! I really didn't get any pictures of the weekend since I was too busy having fun but Jordan sent me lots from their adventures at home. I think the best part of the weekend was getting to be a fun aunt since I didn't have my own kids to worry about! Instead I just spoiled my nieces and nephews and tried to give my very pregnant sister-in-law a little break! It was so fun! My family can be a pain of course but I love this stage where we're all growing up and can get together as adults!

Two of my brothers

Jordan's idea of dinner :)

McKinley missed me and sent me LOTS of selfies

Jordan thinks he's HILARIOUS

That's more like it

Not too bad!

Hi family!!

There are really bad wildfires burning right now in north Idaho and eastern Washington and the smoke is TERRIBLE

Down by the River

Water is my happy place. And while I LOVE our community pools, we have yet to find a great water hole that satisfies my need for a more natural setting. But we're on the hunt!! We spent one Friday evening swimming in the Salt River at a place I've been to a couple times with the young women. Everyone had fun and it was awesome to be in the water, but it was pretty mucky so we'll keep exploring our options.
