Roth Randoms - February

Our big event of the month was Jordan and I getting to go on our very first trip away from the kids! Seriously, in five years, I have never spent a single night away from at least one of my children until this trip! It wasn't exactly a pleasure cruise since we just went to Utah for two days and spent all of one day interviewing for jobs, but it was still fun to be on our own! Jordan had three interviews on Friday and then on Saturday we went to Temple Square. We looked through some of the museums, did a session in the SLC temple, walked around the new mall and met up with Cade and Kelsie for dinner. It was fun! Big thanks to Nana and Jenna for watching the girls for us - it was a good trial run for when they took the girls after I had Reagan!

Here are our random pics from the month ...

Valentine's Day. We didn't really do anything special since Jordan had to work but the girls still got a little something.

Madison checking out her stuff. Somehow I didn't get a picture of McKinley

Watching a show waiting for their mani/pedis to dry. Cuteness!

Getting a trim from Nana. We spent the first weekend in St Johns so Jordan and I could go to Zuni and Gallup for him to interview for residencies. In the end we decided to not go that route (thank goodness!)

Our little four eyes

A taste of vision therapy. Jessica is McKinley's favorite therapist!

My Valentine's Day flowers!!! I love this tradition!

Still my baby (who insists on always having her baby!)

Fun times with cousins at the Children's Museum

Who's that cute puppy dog?!

Two silly girls

Jordan and I stopped in the Family History Museum on Temple Square and found a book all about his family! This was the spread about Jordan's immediate family, complete with photo! The little one on his Dad's lap is Jordan!!

FHE activity. Madison LOVES Family Home Evening, but she has high expectations. Sometimes I rock, but there have been other times when she has let me know that my activity was less than fantastic.

I came into the living room after taking a shower one day and found Madison teaching McKinley letters. It was very cute!

Outfits for leaving the hospital!

Idaho Visitors

We had our first official visitors since we've been in Arizona during February! My Grandma and sister had traveled to Southern California when my great aunt passed away and decided to take a little detour to our place on their way home. It was so great to have them here! They were here for five days, and my girls were in heaven. They seriously worship Aunt Casey and always have fun with Great Grandma! It was great for me to have someone else to entertain the girls and give me a little break. Jordan and I also got to go out on a date and to the temple too! It was our first time going to the temple since we moved here and my first time doing a session in Mesa. I'm really glad we got to go! I'm very grateful for all the fun and help they gave me while they were here.

Jumping on the trampoline with Aunt Casey

We took them to the Mesa Temple one morning. The girls always love smelling all the flowers. My sister and Grandma had never seen the temple and there's a sister missionary serving in the Visitors Center whose brother served in England with Casey so it was fun for the two of them to chat!

She had a very hard time controlling her hands and not picking the flowers ... I love this little stinker!

Swinging at the park - another favorite!
