Roth Randoms - August

Let's just be honest - between moving and baby, I'm lucky I even have pictures of August, much less detailed facts about each of us. So we're just gonna say we got pregnant and moved across the country. Done and done :)

Baby got her hair done

Lunch date with Jaxon

Madison got to ride the Rocky Hopper at our last Redbirds game. She looked scared to death during the ride but said she loved it! (If you can't tell, she's the tiny one on the left!)

We went to the Tunica pool one last time in August

A run through the park with her favorite friend Ethan :)

One last trip to the zoo to see the sea lions

Taking monkey and a few other friends for a walk (when Jordan saw this picture, he was horrified that I would let McKinley go outside in her underwear. The truth is that the underwear are just the top layer of about seven, including a diaper and several pairs of pajama bottoms all scrunched up under there!)

Last gymnastics class ... McKinley was helping me take pictures

Coach Doug gave Madison a ConXion t-shirt, which she wears as a nightshirt :)

Packed up and ready to go! Even now, two months later, this picture just seems crazy! It's always weird to see your entire life packed up in a truck.

Our last glimpse of the Mississippi

While the rest of us were working on unpacking other rooms, these girls made themselves useful! They were so proud that they figured out how to open the boxes by themselves and we found everything pulled out and thrown everywhere! That's one way to do it!

One Last Hurrah

We got together with our SCO Posse one more time before everyone separates for externs, a bittersweet evening full of fun and goodbyes. I know we're all excited to have made it this far in our journey but saying goodbye was tough!! We've made such incredible friends here and really had a fantastic three years! We did a swim party at the Rosses with everyone and had a blast as always :)

Flashback: This picture was taken in August 2012 after the four of us Moms had babies within three months of each other, the first for Sam and Krystal and the second for Kelsie and I. We knew then that we were going to have a lot of fun getting our kids together for playdates and activities over the next couple years!

Our babies definitely aren't so little anymore, but we had a lot of fun watching them grow up together!

These are all our SCO babies (minus the Curtis' and the Andersons'). Who says you should wait until you're done with school to have kids?!?! I think we did a pretty good job showing you can have it all :) That's a lot of babies in three years (there's actually one more secret one in this photo that hasn't been announced yet, but I'm not telling who!)

The whole gang

The wives. I'm so grateful for these amazing women and the support we were able to give each other. I could not have done it without them!

A cute shot of Madison and Emily just because :)

Date Night

Jordan and I spent our last date night hanging out at Tom Lee Park! We got pizza from Trolley Stop and took it to the park to watch the sunset over the river. It was a perfect night, and a great way to say goodbye to the South.

Beale Street Landing

We planned a trip to the splash pad with the Sharp girls but our favorite one was closed so we ended up trying out a new one at Beale Street Landing. It was small, but it was still a lot of fun! I'm so sad that the Sharps moved in right as we're moving out - our girls already love each other!

Since we were right on the river, we got to see one of the Riverboats docking

Water Babies

We had so much fun this summer at our weekly swim parties hosted by the Rosses! The kids loved hanging out together, and Dad even came with us once! We'll definitely miss all our fun times in Mississippi!

McKinley LOVES driving the car. She spends about half her time in the pool and the other half just like this!

Lots of friends!
