USC!!!

I am proud to say that I got into the University of Southern California for my Masters of Social Work. It has always been a goal of mine to accomplish. After applying to BYU, getting in, then moving to Hawaii...applying to Univ. of Hawaii, getting in, and then moving to CA, I finally found a program that will work wherever we move. The program is online, which includes 1 1.2 hours of a live online class for each class and then a 20 hour a week internship during the whole year and a half. The school helps find me an internship which is awesome and I will start that in April. I begin March 1st and will graduate in December of 2012. I am excited to do this program since USC is ranked #3 in the country for their MSW program. I am so lucky to have a great husband who supports me and encourages me to do this and reach my goals. I have 6 classes the first semester...it's the make it or break it semester..and then it tappers off to about 3 classes per semester. Wish me luck...I'll keep you updated on how it goes.

I know it has been a very long time....

I finally feel up to blogging tonight. I am not sure why but hey, it's a start. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and The New Year have all come and gone. We had a great Thanksgiving with the Rupps. Brooks and AmyAnn and Lizzie all came. We had a fun time. We celebrated Christmas with our little family. We visited the Rupp's that morning and then we had Jason's family over for dinner that night. New Years, it was the kids and I since Jason had a scout camp out. That's ok...I was happy to go to bed and sleep through the fireworks and ball drop. It seems that January flew by and now February is almost gone! We are still trying to work out Brayden's sleep issues...it seems to be a never ending process. London is in the full swing of the "2's" including full on tantrums and on demand crying with real tears. She might have a promising future as an actress...who knows. We have also been busy adding another bedroom to our house. Even though we are renting, the owners are deducting all the materials from our rent and we do the labor. So far, the floor has been installed, 2 walk-in closets, and a linen closet. The drywall is up and we just painted the room last night. We are getting close! It will be really nice to have the extra room which will turn into our office and the dinning room will become the play room which will make the family room less crowded! That's what we have been up to...
