4th of July

July 3-4 2012

We went to Kings Island on the 3rd and did the water park all day.  It was heavenly since it's a little outta control hot!  Then we stayed for Breakfast with the Low's on the 4th since they do a huge shindig with friends.  It was yummy!  I love how we all coordinate perfectly!  Gotta love when they all get in the spirit of the holiday!  We drove back home to do the yearly ward BBQ.  It was dang hot and SUUUUPER humid this year.  Almost unbearable!  Then we went and did fireworks with some of our friends.  It was a great day, even though everyone was sweating profusely!  Ps, I'm now realizing that I took no pics of A in her 4th of July Sunday dress!  It was sooo super darling!  Bummer.  Once again, a great 4th!!!  Love our wonderful country and our freedom!

Easter (4.12.12)

seriously, these two are the cutest things ever!

Easter is hard when you have 9am church.  We let Brady look for his basket before church and he loved it.  James even hid mine for me to look for.  Church was great.  We skyped with family and then went to friends house for dinner.  Dinner was heavenly and of course the company was awesome!  It's so nice that even when you don't have family near that you have good friends who are like family to spend holidays with!!!

2nd Year Easter Brunch (4.11.10)

We did A 2nd year Easter Brunch.  Thanks Lookharts for hosting it!  It was a lot of fun and there was tons of yummy food to eat!  It's fun having so many LDS dental students at school with us.

Saturday Night BBQ (4.10.12)

all within 6 weeks of each other.  Love that Mollie has her arms around Addison and Hayden!

Can I just say how much I love our ward.  We do a lot together, a lot on a regular basis.  We decided to BBQ  and do a little Easter egg hunt.  Ya know, cause kids can never have too much candy!  We brought our kayak and james and dads took turns taking all the kids on rides around the lake.  You know something else I love?  Kentucky's amazing parks!  Seriously, there are some fabulous parks all over Kentucky...and they are all gorgeous!  Anyways, it was a great Saturday night with friends!

2.14.2012

the kids wore their Valentines gear of course. There was a little snow so Brady got to play in it till it melted 10 min later! We made valentines for Daddy. We went to a valentines party with all Brady's friends from church and they all exchanged valentines. Brady helped me make dinner and everything was in hearts! James of course got me gorgeous flowers and a couples massage!!!! I am super pumped about that gift!!!

Christmas Day

Christmas morning Brady ran into our room and told us how Santa came. How there were all these presents and the donut and carrots were eaten! He was so excited about it all! It was so adorable to watch. So we let him read the note from santa and open the present from Santa which was some of the cars from Cars 2! Santa obviously became Brady's BFF fast! We got ready and went to church, only to find that there was no church their that day. There were about 10 visitor cars in the parking lot trying to figure out where to go. We were pretty bummed about missing church, I mean that is what Christmas is all about. So we went home and got into our pjs again.

Addi only got clothes, but she got this monkey from Mimi and Papa and couldn't stop starring at it. It became our babysitter! She was obsessed with the thing.

yep, this is how I gained like 6 pounds over Christmas vacation!!

We got to talk to the missionaries in the family! My cousin Chase and Sean. When we were all in the room talking to Sean the spirit was so strong. Everyone was tearing up, my dad and seany were speaking spanish. I was just listening to how it's going and about his current baptisms and my heart swelled with joy. He comes home in Feb and it's been amazing to watch how much he has grown up and the strong testimony that has been gained. It all just reaffirmed my testimony and why I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!

We played minute to win it games that night after dinner.

Uncle Zach taught Brady UFC moves which I'm so thankful that to this day he tries to use on me! He got a lot of wrestling in over that Vacation and now wants to wrestle EVERYDAY!
