Middle Child Syndrome

How to keep the attention on you....Maybe it's the middle kid syndrome, but Peyton is definitely the cutest little girl, just by being herself and capturing as much attention away from the smart older sister and the new baby. She will pick up every pacifier (paseer) she finds and latch on to it. At the hospital she wanted to experience the newborn experience once again.

She looks like a fish out of water.

When I first got here, she would let me feed her playing crash landing the airplane..she got a kick out of it and would feed herself that way also. But the last few nights she's decided she doesn't want to eat dinner. After being put down from the dinner table this evening she meandered a bit and came back to mom's plate, who was off feeding Lexie, crawling up onto mom's chair she found mom's food so much more appetizing.

Bright Eyes

We made a trip to the hospital this morning, The girls were anxious to see their mom. Lexie is just a darling, a beautiful bright eyed cutie. April and Lexie are doing well. They'll be coming home tomorrow.

Only an hour old.
April is sooo glad it's over. The Dr. said she'd be a 7 lb baby, wasn't he a bit off.

I asked Halli if she was ready for all the crying..."Not in my room" she said.

No Sign of Lexie yet, although April is more than ready. Kevin is showing all the signs of an expectant Father.

The days are full of walking and cleaning and planning and shopping.

The evenings are more walking and bouncing up and down on the ball.

C'était Amusement

It was fun. Now that Ryan and Kate have moved down here and would have thoroughly enjoyed using the boat...Alas, we sold it last week. Ahhh....the memories.

Back in Young Womens

It's been 8 years, but I am finally back in Young Womens', though I am just in the secretarial position, I am so excited to be there. I am definitely the Grandma of the group... literally, the only Grandma in the group. After the past few years I was ready to pull out the rocker and cane.
