Blingee

Meadham Kirchhoff SS10

Since seeing these Meadham Kirchhoff glitter tees from Spring 2010, I've longed for something similar. Well a click of the heels and a stroll down the yellow brick road to Zara and I've found myself a nice alternative! I also just learned the news that their US e-commerce store is opening next week. DANGEROUS.

Sun's out

When Ksubi was Tsubi, they were doing some pretty cheeky graphic tops that are all long gone now except for the occasional one that pops up on ebay. So why did I forget to wake up and bid on this most excellent piece of cotton? DOH!!!

Hello, I'm batty

I couldn't resist this Alexa Chung for Madewell tee- the graphic is so simple but says enough to people without me uttering a word. Oh yeah, and I'm now the proud owner of the Margiela watch face ring thanks to a Yoox.com Loves Maison Martin Margiela 48 hour sale last week. I've been stalking this thing forever!

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction

1. Daniel Palillo ying-yang bike shorts...I could so see these on the In Living Color fly girls, or on myself ridin' round the cit-ay.
2. My new pointy wooden ring looks like a roof on my finger. Stand back!
3. I just got this giant knit "pouf" from CB2 for my bedroom...who needs chairs?
4. Epic ode to Master of Puppets Metallica tee by Mikio Sakabe, found at RA and it might have to be mine.
5. Some crazy siamese ring situation I can't stop staring at from Slow & Steady Wins the Race (via OC). It's a marriage of two fingers!

To a T

Tees for sure take up a big chunk of my wardrobe pride and joy, but the ones I wear over and over are generally simple, yet different takes on the basic fit. Lately it's been oversized, but after coming across Alexa Galler's label Eighteenth, I'm really craving some of her not-so-basic geometric tees. Alexa uses asymmetry and a minimalist sensibility to craft lightweight tops that are effortless, unique, and easily summer staples.

You leave me wanting more

Seeing as my drawers have long since passed the point of overflowing onto the floor and any available space, I am just waiting for the motivation, time, and patience to go through all my folded items, especially tees, and weed out crap I never wear anymore. Until then, I need to exercise some self-control and not bring home any more t-shirts. Blood Is The New Black is making that very hard though!! These three are a few of my faves in the shop right now- the first two are by photographer Dan Monick (go look at his portfolio, it's sweet), and the last is by Josh Slater.

Go Burfitt!

Burfitt has become one of my fave go-to brands out there for casual everyday looks since laying my eyes upon their candy-coated spring 08 lookbook (one of my fave lookbooks ever). I was stoked to score this Burfitt bag last year at the insanity that was the Opening Ceremony sample sale, and I'm eager to add more of their pieces to my wardrobe. Maybe late on this, but I just discovered that Burfitt now has their own online store with very well-styled shots and a sale section, so it's only a matter of time before I'm rocking more of their gear.

where the dinosaurs roam

I don't normally spend this kind of cash on tees, but there is a weak spot in my heart for All Saints men's tees and I couldn't leave the shop with out it. I mean come on- T REX!!!!
