UPDATE:  Some fool over on Twitter is saying this article proves that the KKK and fascists are alive and well in Finland.  Idiots.  I put this article up for various reasons, first to congratulate the Finns for standing up to Muslim invaders but also to show that the Marxist media in Europe fabricates the lies in EVERY story - white KKK outfit.....give me a fucking break.  To my little troll friend at Twitter, where does it mention the race or color of the "migrants"?  Are you sure they weren't WHITE Muslims refugees?  Why would a guy wear a KKK sheet to protest Muslims?  

Same old same old in Europe - if you don't embrace multiculturalism, if you don't bow to Islam, if you don't want the destruction of your European homeland the media there portrays you as "fascist" as "supremacist" as "Nazi."  Get used to it America, it's already started here.

HELSINKI: Demonstrators threw stones and launched fireworks at a bus full of asylum seekers arriving at a reception centre in Lahti in southern Finland, late on Thursday, Finnish media reported on Friday.

Between 30 and 40 demonstrators, one in a white robe like those worn by the white supremacist Ku Klux Klan in the United States, waved the Finnish flag and shouted abuse at the bus.

Some demonstrators also hurled stones and let off fireworks at the vehicle carrying 40 asylum seekers, including several young children, Finnish television YLE said.

Meanwhile, a petrol bomb was thrown at another reception centre in Kouvola, also in southern Finland, police said. No one was known to be hurt in the incidents.

"The Finnish government strongly condemns last night's racist protests against asylum seekers who had entered the country," the government said in a statement. "Violence or the threat of violence is always to be condemned."

Prime Minister Juha Sipila this month offered to take in refugees at his home, a move that attracted international attention but also criticism in Finland.

"Sipila's noble-minded gesture was like a Christmas gift for human traffickers and refugees. The news about open doors in Finland have sent many young men on a journey towards the promised land," Mika Niikko, a deputy from anti-immigrant party The Finns, said last week in a statement.

So far this year more than 13,000 asylum seekers, most of them from Iraq, have come to Finland, compared to just 3,600 in the whole of last year.

In recent days, about 500 refugees per day have crossed the Finnish land border in Tornio, near the Arctic Circle, after a long journey through Sweden.

The Finnish government has launched random border checks and identity checks around the country amid the influx of refugees.

Finland was the only European Union state to abstain from this week's vote about relocating asylum seekers across the member countries. It accepted its 2 per cent share of 120,000 asylum seekers in question but said it was opposed to a mandatory quota system.

3-year-old boy was turned away from indoor swimming pool

Joensuu Rantakylän swimming pool organized a women’s swim session which gave rise to confusion about older infants. A Joensuu mother recently tried to swim in the women’s swim session with her three-year-old son, but were turned away by the ticket agent. The argument was that only women were allowed inside.

Joensuu Rantakylän swimming pool has organized women’s swim sessions for over a year. For two hours on Saturday mornings the arranged session has only women in the swimming pool and gym.

- It is related to the integration of immigrants and has been well received. Two hours weekly 50 to 70 year old customers come to the session, which is almost half of the day’s total number of visitors, says the city of Joensuu, Department Manager Pentti Ryhänen.

Not eve a little boy allowed inside

The popular interactions, however, also raised eyebrows. Others felt that the municipality should not distinguish between genders in the indoor swimming pool. The Joensuu mother was confused about the session’s strict gender division in an attempt to enter with her three-year-old son.

- I was thinking that it shouldn’t matter, because he is such a small boy. The ticket agent, however, asked whether the child was a boy or a girl and then turned us away. Of course I was upset over the situation, the mother says.

“The windows are not blocked”

Department Head Pentti Ryhänen said negative feedback from the sessions are seldom heard. Ryhänen, also made it clear that boys are not included in the sessions, even if it’s a young child.

- Parents can become interactive with their baby boys freely at other times, Ryhänen says.

Women’s swim sessions according to Ryhänen have brought the city positive feedback from immigrants. Developmentalideas have been suggested.

- One suggestion was that the swimming pool windows should be covered during the period of the session, so that no one can look inside. That’s something we’re not going to do, Ryhänen said.

When you look at the conviction and fine of a member of Finland's Parliament for his comments about Islam in Finland, you will notice that probably 100 individuals in America could have been convicted of the same crime and if we don't wake up here, that is exactly what will happen.

Member of Parliament, James Hirvisaari fined for incitement against ethnic group

HS: What True Finns MP James Hirvisaari published in a blog post on 4 February 2010 at the UusiSuomi online newspaper service, has been given a verdict.

Kouvola Court of Appeal has convicted the True Finns MP, James Hirvisaari, with a fine for ethnic agitation. According to the court what he wrote in his blog was offensive to Muslims. The fine was equal to 1425 euros.

Päijät-Häme district court previously dismissed the indictment against Hirvisaari, because it didn’t deem the writings as disparaging. The district court’s view was that a politician has the right to criticize immigration policy.

The Court of Appeal decided the matter differently. According to it Hirvisaari’s web writings was sweeping and discriminatory, and specified a group of people as criminals.

The Court of Appeal took the view that the characterizing of an ethnic group as criminal isn’t within the limits of free speech as generalization and a provocation.
True Finns Party parliamentary group chairman, Pirkko Ruohonen-Lerner believes that they’ll take a position on the case, when the decision is final. Although this might still go to the Supreme Court.
