Do you hear an Angel?

I just had to make one more holiday card with this sweet angel. I didn't really need anymore but I only got to use her for a short time and their little faces are so sweet. Looking at her though in the picture she looks very pale (more so than in real life) so I hope she is not getting sick. (wink).

This is one of the sweet well known CC Designs that I got from Kelly over at KLSNS. And of course I was able to play with my copics, it had been 10 days since I had crafted with all the travel and holiday decorating that I had done.

And check it out, Kelly is offering $10 off any order of $50 or more right now with code Dec2009 and as always, Magnolia's are 10% off.

Joy to the World

Today's card I made for the Mojo Monday Sketch challenge. Julee always puts out the bestest challenges and this was no exception although I did have a bit of a hard time getting my circles. But I managed and I love the colors, pinks and celery.

The stamp is a Hero Arts set called Share the Joy which I colored in with copic markers. The stamp is a cling mount stamp and it is truly lovely to work with. The sentiment comes with the set and it is on sale right now!

Julie over at ABC Toys and Kraft is having a fabulous sale too: the pink slice has free shipping and then 25% off the cartridges. You know me and pink............ so sweet! PLUS

25%off Sizzix until December 15th 2009
25%off Spellbinders until December 15th 2009
25% off Clear Stamps until December 31st, 2009
25%off Rubber Stamps until December 31st, 2009

So stop on over and check it out- I am sure that your holiday needs can be met! Give that list to someone that is looking to buy for YOU, because you deserve it of course!

Have a great day!

Stampers Anonymous is coming!

Hello everyone! So I have to ask, are you participating in the Tim Holtz 12 tags of Christmas? Well a couple years ago I did and I fell in love with this set called Believe. It is a vintage santa, a tree and the word Believe in it, and can also be found in a set called Christmas Miracle. It is such an awesome set to build all types of cards, tags, etc...... and if you are a Tim Holtz fan- he is sharing so many more ideas with these sets HERE!

It really was a simple card to make, just stamp the image with permanent ink like Memento Tuxedo Black, and then use a sponge to the edges. I added the ribbon, felt, trim and tag and that was it. Oh, I forgot a little stickles to the edges for a little shimmer.

AND the GREAT NEWS is that 7kidscollege fund is now carrying these Stampers Anonymous sets! I had a horrible time trying to find them when I needed them, so hurry over and get them now because I am sure they will not last!

Here is a card that I made last year with another one of the Stamper's Anonymous sets as well! This one can be found in the holiday collection.

Gift Card Holder

Hello everyone! This week I am doing something a little different than Christmas because we all know of people that have Birthday's in December or January and I think it is very important those special people get a NON Christmas gift. So what is better than a gift card: they can buy their own gift AND get in on all the wonderful specials that are offered at this time of year!
So this is my version of a gift card. I used the Amy Butler Lotus Paper stack to cover the front and then with some vanilla cardstock just used a piece as wide as the new MS floral vine punch. Tied a little ribbon on and and then added some of these beautiful Prima flowers.
Here is a picture of the inside (without the card yet). The Card will slide right into the middle area and done. A nice gift, now of course these could be used for holiday gifts and honestly- they take less than 15min to make. I used the SU window punch and circle punch to make the opening.

This is another card I made with a Verve sketch this last weekend. I wanted to share this one with you as I am Grateful to all of my subscribers and those of you that leave wonderfully kind words to me. I am traveling this week so I am not around to do alot of posting on your blogs but I wanted to at least leave you with some goodies to look at and hope that I will inspire you in some way. I hope that your December is starting out wonderfully and those holiday plans are falling into place.

And don't forget to join in my Blog Candy (see below).

Buncha Tags and Candy!

Ok, this is a quick post for today- as I am doing some travel this week and so limited on time. But I did want to give you a little incentive to be working on your holiday gift tags this week. I have found I do not buy these anymore b/c I can make them so quickly. I use either by top note die or my nestabilities and I have a nice size tag base. Then the fun........... adding the paper and glitter. So my challenge to you today is to work on getting those tags done............ and post a link here if you would like some love on them! I love to see tags and get new ideas!

Matter of fact- do you need tags? I will send out a package of tags (may not be these exact tags) to one winner. All I ask is that you post a picture of my candy on your block and link it here with a little love for me by Saturday 12/5 11:59pm and I will draw a winner and post by Sunday 12/6 at 10pm.
