Christmas Eve Pagent 2010

Christmas Eve is one of my favorite days in the whole year. There is a magic about the night before Christmas. It isn't about gifts or Santa, it is about the birth of the Savior. We love having everyone in our home and watching the children recreate the nativity. There is always a different mix of people, but the story is the same. My brother in law took candid pictures throughout the evening to capture the memory.
The three wisemen (and woman) and the shepards.
Noah and Ben getting set. Aunt Gayle brought a big box of costumes that were well loved by the kids.
Mary and Joseph and the angelic hosts.
Rebecca and her grandma. Another great picture by Marshall.
My sweet niece Winter.
Posing to appease the paparazzi.
Rebecca did such a great job reading her really long part as the Angel Gabriel.
Noah and Avery singing as Mary and Joseph.
Elizabeth and Lukey made the best Mary and Joseph. He held her hand and sat sweetly next to her the whole time.
Jeffey the shepard. Holding a big stick was a big selling feature.
Elizabeth as Mary.
Not only was Caroline a great narrator, but she took care of H the whole night. He loves her!

The two Delwins, grandpa's hands are great for "horse eats cabbage".

Mom got us all pedicures earlier that day. Fun nails and toes for Christmas (and New Years)
Love this guy...a lot!
My sweet Jefferson Wayne.
Denia flirting with Marshall, love it.
Papa in one of his favorite places, with the babies. Papa was among both of their first words.
These two have a special little bond. She loves to make him laugh, and he loves to oblige.

As always, we miss those who can't be with us on this special night. If we keep going at this rate we will soon have a full cast for the play, complete with all the animals. Thanks to everyone who comes and makes this night such a sweet memory. I look forward to this tradition for years to come.

Brian's Christmas Work Party

I love getting dressed up and going to a party with Brian. His work party this year was at the Wrigley Mansion and was so much fun. I had a sweet friend that loaned me a great dress and it was great night. I am very grateful for my hardworking husband. He isn't around a lot right now, but I appreciate his dedication to his career, calling and us. I love nights like this that reminds me what it felt like when we were first married.

They had a photo booth at the party and we got some fun shots. Oh, and we won an IPad which made for a perfect evening! I think he will get another date.
