Spring Training...

The truth of the matter is, when you have kids you want them to have the same interests that you do/did because, 1- it's what you know and you can help them learn and 2- so you can live vicariously through them. Don't deny it, you know its true - you want your kids to be better and do better than you did and that's okay.

Well, Mr. Incredible loves to bike and fortunately for him so does B-Man. This boy (both of them to be honest) would ride until his legs fell off. So in preparation for the summer of biking that lies ahead, B-Man needed a new back tire. We were so fortunate to inherit this bike from the Clementine's and how grateful we are because it has been such an outlet for  B-Man, but the back tire was going to blow if it was subjected to one more skid stop (do boys know how to stop any other way?) When Mr. Incredible left for work he promised the B-Man that they would fix his back tire when he got home from work. If anyone is the parent or ever has been a parent of a 3 year old, you know that every 2.3 seconds that boy was asking if Daddy was home and if they could fix his tire. ALL. DAY. LONG! So finally the time came for dad to be home and help. I am telling you (again, because I know I have said it before) this man has the patience of a saint because he had three "helpers" and it took him about 10 times longer than it normally would have, but I guess that is the point - how else are they going to learn if we don't teach them.

It was freezing cold and windy (which dad had not expected when he made said promise) so they ended up crammed into the laundry room.

I love how Sweet Pea has the toy hammer and Muffin has the toy screwdriver - love these kids!
