I've really been struggling with breastfeeding, at first I wasn't producing enough so he lost too much weight and I had to supplement, now I have a hard time producing cause he prefers the bottle. One of these days I will post everything I have tried to help increase my supply and his desire to nurse. On the plus side, because we supplement, Greg gets to feed him with the bottle and we have fun little moments like this.

Name?
Why can't I name my baby? I'm having the hardest time calling him Andrew. I just don't know if it suits him. He remains baby, buddy, sweetheart and pillowlow (don't ask) until we can figure it out. I can't tell if he is an Andrew, Andy, Drew, or Thomas (middle name). Sometimes I think he looks more like a little Thomas. Greg and I had a hard time agreeing on names, so when it came down to it at the hospital, I was so exhausted and tired of thinking about it, I just told Greg to make the deciding vote. We went with Andrew. I still can't seem to settle on it. I had an uncle who got to name himself when he was 8, and ended up with the name of a boxer, Jack something. I don't see us doing that, but I really need to figure it out soon. I don't' agree with Shakespeare. I think there is a lot in a name. Regardless of name issues, "the baby" is so funny to watch (probably true of most newborns to new parents) but I thoroughly enjoy it. He seems to be getting longer, but not necessarily bigger and his hair is falling out...he looks like a little grandpa (ah, there is another name we throw around, Grandpa Taylor). He really is a sweet little baby. He is getting to the point where I think he can pull a genuine smile, which I love. It will only get better. This video is probably longer then most people care for, but oh well.
Go Miss California
I watch WAY more TV then I would like as I try to figure out breastfeeding...and having only 12 channels, it doesn't really give me a lot of options. So I was watching the Miss USA pageant this morning (recorded) and Miss California was asked a question about same sex marriage. I was so proud of her answer, it isn't an easy topic to publicly speak out against. Let's hear it for beauty queens. Too bad she didn't win.
