Kenna Goodman (28) has been recently diagnosed with a grade 4 cancerous brain tumor called Medulloblastoma.

Kenna had surgery to remove the tumor and is now undergoing radiation and chemo therapy in hopes to destroy any residual cancer cells in her brain and spinal column.

She has three adorable children ages 6, 4, and 1 and is terrified they will grow up without their mommy.

Cuz

This past week Parkers cousin Tyler came up to visit, so we had the chance to play with Tyler, and have a sleep over.

The boys starring at the cows in Papa's backyard.

At the zoo. Parker pulling Tyler in the wagoon.

They loved the gorilla

Instead of saying CHEESE! They say TOMATO!

They fell asleep with the basketballs.

We sure did have fun playing with Tyler, and we can't wait to do it again. We love all of our cousins.

Bell Peppers...

18 weeks /Bell Pepper /7 ounces /5 1/2 inches

I'm much more excited about this week than the past week. No offense to the turnips, but bell peppers are amazing and there is so much you can do with them.
So as you will be able to tell i'm not an extravagant cook, and I stick to the basics.
This week I am going to do 2 recipes with bell peppers. My first
STUFFED PEPPERS.

And then STIR FRY

Yummy! I can't wait.

OH BOY or GIRL!!!

See I really am pregnant, my belly is starting to pop out slowly.

College Ball

You might think this post is a joke, but it is for real and I am so excited for Aaron...
So the other day Aaron calls me from school and tells me he has made the basketball team, I think he is joking and its just church ball, but he goes on and says he was playing basketball and the coach came and asked him to play, well he proceeds to go on and tell me its for the GIRLS University of Utah Basketball team, he is on the practice squad that plays against the girls 2-3 times a week, starting this next week. We are super excited for him, and think this is the coolest thing ever.

I am a little worried because I am sure more than half of these girls are bigger than him and will push him around.

Fall Turnip

17 weeks/ Turnip/ 5 inches
I really like comparing my growing baby to food!
I honestly have never had a turnip, that I know of. So it was hard to even know where to look at the grocery store for one.
After looking online for a good recipe I decided the recipes were all too weird for our family, so I just added them to mashed potatoes, and to be honest they weren't too bad, you really couldn't even tell they were in there.
I am going to try a crazy recipe with Turnips so i'll let you know how it turns out.
I ALSO CAN'T WAIT FOR....
My belly to pop out
And to have a cute little one!

We are also loving Fall, and just enjoying playing outside.

DIY Antiqued Temple

I had so much fun doing this project with my mom, it took us about 2 hours start to finish.
We started with a plain picture of The Salt Lake Temple textured it, and then painted and pieced the frame together. And it all came together... TADA... it turned out perfect.
So as you can tell it is as big as Parker, about 3 feet tall.
Thanks Mom!!!

Avocado Operation

16 WEEKS
(My Husbands cousin Mindy did this on her blog while she was pregnant and I thought it was a good idea, so I'm going to try to follow in her footsteps... Every week she posts a pic of how big the baby is-compared to food and then makes a recipe with that item. How cute and clever huh?) So the little babe inside my belly growing, is the size of an avocado about 4 1/2 inches.
Looks like we are going to have some avocado on our tomato sandwich tonight or make some homemade salsa. YUMMY!

Next, with it being so cold we have been in the house a little more, and pulled out some games.
Nothing like playing OPERATION in Spanish

It took Parker a little while to warm up to the buzzing of the game.

We are also so excited for Halloween, we have our decorations all out, have painted pumpkins, and have enjoyed some yummy fall food. (Lots and Lots of cookies)
We can't wait to go trick or treating!

OH BABY BABY!!!

We are so excited to share our BIG news!!!

Parker is going to be a big brother!!!

I promise this is a pic of me, even though you can't see my head.
12 weeks/3 months.

15 weeks/almost 4 months

We will be welcoming this little bundle of joy to our family March 2010(Next Spring), and we are super excited we barely can wait.
We also are NOT going to find out the gender of this little one.
My guess: Boy, Aaron's guess: Girl.
Parker has taken the privilege of calling the baby... Baby Carrot.
