Kenna Goodman (28) has been recently diagnosed with a grade 4 cancerous brain tumor called Medulloblastoma.

Kenna had surgery to remove the tumor and is now undergoing radiation and chemo therapy in hopes to destroy any residual cancer cells in her brain and spinal column.

She has three adorable children ages 6, 4, and 1 and is terrified they will grow up without their mommy.

it's back...

Wow! It has been over a year since I have written on my family blog.
A lot has happened in the last little bit. We've moved, made new friends, gone camping, spent lots of time with family and have just really enjoyed being together doing the everyday things.

Why I might write again on my blog...
After being diagnosed in 2014 with brain cancer (medulloblastoma) I underwent surgery, radiation and chemo. By December 2014 I was finished with treatment and continued living life with all the side affects to follow. Continued getting MRI scans every 3 months. My scan in november 2016 did not go as planned. A little blip of contrast showed up, my oncologist said that my tumor is "behaving". So waiting for these next few days I'll get another scan, this time of my spine to see if it has spread, then a bunch of important docirs will meet together on the tumor board and decide what is the best treatment plan.
So that is what is new. I probably won't post much on my blog, I've become fond of Instagram, I like pictures better than words.
Well here is to another round with brain cancer...
