Growing garden...

The garden is finally growing and producing.

It was a little slow because we were slow with planting

and then we had a few intruders this year

DEER

They found the tomatoes quite delicious and chopped them down a few times

but by golly some how they are still growing.

 I'm pretty excited about the lettuce, because this is the first year I have ever grown it

The peas can't keep up with the kids, they love going outside and eating them right up!

Here is to more vegetables!!!

Night rides...

The kids love daddy's motorcycle

Dad just drives them around in the circle

but they love it!

They look forward to it before going to bed.

Making change...

Saturday night,

I'm getting the kiddos tucked in bed

I notice Macey has some money in her hand so I ask her for it

well instead of giving it to me she pops it in her mouth

then I tell her to spit it out

and instead she swallows it...

I panic

I call Aaron

my mom

my mother in law

instacare

a nurse in our ward 

and primary children's hospital

they all tell me to calm down

and it should pass...

They were right

2 days later

Macey made change

11 cents made it through!

Handcart days...

Handcart days

games, prizes, food, fun, family, friends, fireworks and a parade.

What could be better?!?

 The kids won some awesome prizes, fishing.

 The food was yummy!

 We met up with our friends for the parade and fireworks.

Macey's friend, Miss K was so cute, she loved Aaron, she kept calling him her prince and would sit on his lap and ask her to sing songs, it was adorable!

Swimming lessons...

 The kids are in swimming lessons this year

I wasn't worried because they both love the water,

no fear and love swimming.

I was going to wait another year for Macey but I decided it would be hard to keep her out of the water while watching Parker swim,

ha was I wrong, she will play in the water until her teacher swims over, and then she won't even get near the pool, she is stubborn (just like me)

and it is frustrating.

There is no changing her mind, she tells me every day and every night

I not go to swimming lessons

I not get in the water

I not listen to my teacher

and yep, everyday she does those things.

Silly girl.

We have one more week, so hopefully she will get in the water next week.

We are lucky if she will sit on the side of the pool and watch her class.

 On the other hand, Parker is doing great!

He loves swimming so much, and is learning a lot.

 His favorite is at the end of class he can go off the diving board!

He is learning to swim to the bottom of the pool, and get some endurance so he can swim across the pool.

Rocky Shores...

We love the zoo!

We have been lucky to go so many times this year 

and each time is awesome!

Parker has been waiting for the day when Rocky Shores opened at the zoo,

so when it finally did, him and his Papa and his cousins had to go check it out.

It was great!

I was bummed I forgot my camera cause the polar bear was so much fun to watch,

he was just swimming around and would swim up to the glass and put his face right up to Parker's

he did this over and over, Parker loved it!

Well the kids had so much, and have been talking about it

they wanted to take their daddy

So one rainy day we met Aaron up at the zoo after work,

the polar bear wasn't as active but all the other animals were fun to watch...

 It's been really neat to watch the elephant grow up each year!

 Parker decided they were brother and sister, like him and Macey

cause they would play then fight, then play and fight some more.

They were really fun and active!

 Parker called him the big daddy, he mostly slept but it was fun to watch him, because when it would rain he would get so irritated, sit up and bark at the rain drops then lay back down and try to go to sleep.

We think the new exhibit, rocky shores is pretty neat and we can't wait for more visits to go back!

Howdy cowgirl!!!

Macey loves dress up

But what little girl doesn't.

Most of the time she is all dolled up, playing in princess dresses

with bracelets and pretty shoes,

but every once in awhile a girl just wants to ride her horse

When she puts on her cowboy hat, she comes up to me and says 

I'm a MAN

don't call her Macey, cowgirl or cutie, you best be calling her

MAN

P.S. thanks for the dress help, I got a lot of feedback on facebook also

it's nice to have a second opinion every once in awhile!

Fashion Help...

OK friends and family

I need some fashion advice...

Aaron and I are going to a wedding on Saturday,

Aaron is part of the wedding party

I am not

but they still asked me to wear coordinating colors

Blue...

Well with me being pregnant not my whole wardrobe fits me and I really didn't want to go buy something new.

So I have made it down to 2 dresses but my only problem is...

Do you wear white to someone Else's wedding?

Please let me know what you think...

Or what else I could wear or what I could do to spice up an outfit for a wedding.

Gone fishing... With Papa!!!

After the 4th this year the kiddos and I headed up to the cabin to meet my parents.

Parker has been looking forward to this all summer

because Papa was going to take him fishing!

Parker and Macey had so much fun, and caught a lot of fish!

So many they had to catch a release quite a few.

Papa knew all the good fishing spots, we first started at a little stream and then the next day we went up to Soup Bowl pond. Both days of fishing were great!

Good thing they have a Papa so patient with them.

 The kids even lucked out, they didn't have to bait their own hooks or help gut the fish at all.

Fiery Fourth...

The fourth this year was sizzilin!!!

The whole state of Utah was on Fire!

We still celebrated and had a great time!

Kind of bummed that personal fireworks were banned, all I wanted was some sparkelers, oh well

We had lots of fun with friends, family, food, firework shows, swimming and hanging out!

It was great!!!

 

Half way to #3!!!

This 3rd pregnancy (crazy that it is #3) is just flying by

but at the same time creeping so slowly.

Out of all my pregnancies this one has been the most difficult and hardest on me.

I have felt really crummy and I keep waiting for it to go away, and it doesn't, it's kind of a bummer.

Especially because I really enjoyed being pregnant with Parker and Macey, I felt great!

The first couple of months were terrible, I was really sick and lost a few pounds,

the last couple of months have been a little easier but I still have my bad days and terrible mornings. 

We are really excited for this little babe to join our family, but to be honest a little scared.

I hope this post doesn't sound negative, because it shouldn't at all, we are really excited and can't wait for this little babe to come and complete our family.

Parker is pretty excited to be a big big brother,

he is 100% sure the baby is a boy 

 his reasoning, boys come before girls, he came before his sister.

His favorite, is to put the flashlight on my belly at night to get the baby moving around.

Macey knows what's going on, but if you call her big sister, she will just say no I Macey!

She is the only one in the family that thinks this little baby is a girl

She loves to sing to my tummy!

She also thinks she has a baby in her tummy!

Aaron and I both think this baby is a boy

this is the first time we have ever agreed, so we are either both wrong or both right

But we will have to wait to see in November cause we like surprises!!!

The kids really enjoy coming to my appointments with me, the doctor lets them help find the babies heart beat and be a part of it, and lets us do an ultrasound every time!

She is really good with the kids and we just can't wait!

Please ignore my belly, and yes my belly button is like a crater, gross I know.

But the kiddos are really cute and are already enjoying this baby!

Mueller Canyon Park...

 The mountains are beautiful, everything is so green and on a hot afternoon it is nice to walk through the cool shady trees.

 Tootsie had a little hitch hiker on her and she didn't seem to mind...

 The boys spent their time building a damn

ha, I can't smile

We love hiking and we need to take advantage of it more often and enjoy the outdoors.
Mueller Canyon Park is one of our favorites, the kids love the easy hiking trails and the nice cool relaxing stream.
