Kenna Goodman (28) has been recently diagnosed with a grade 4 cancerous brain tumor called Medulloblastoma.
Kenna had surgery to remove the tumor and is now undergoing radiation and chemo therapy in hopes to destroy any residual cancer cells in her brain and spinal column.
She has three adorable children ages 6, 4, and 1 and is terrified they will grow up without their mommy.

Grandma is in heaven or at least the kids are...
Parker is sleeping over with his cousins at Grandma and Papa's house...
As I was getting ready for bed and checking my e-mail for the night, my dad sent me this picture.
Grandma loves reading to the kids and they love it too!
Good night Parker, we love you!

Roly Poly...
Tonight I had a Young Women church activity, so the kiddos stayed home with daddy. When I returned home that evening, Parker was so excited to tell me all the fun things he did with dad and all the cool bugs they saw. Then he showed me a little Roly Poly he had caught, he was so excited about it, he asked if he could put it in a jar to keep. As we go into the house to put the Roly Poly in a jar, Parker says, "Hey, my Roly Poly is now 2 Roly Polies". He was so excited about being able to keep it, that he smashed it into pieces.

Big brothers are good for...
Big brothers are good for...
taking care of their baby sisters.
Parker is an awesome big brother, he takes great care of his baby sister, he plays, protects, loves, tells her stories and is always there for her.
Parker was sure to share the fun at the park with Macey, and he took her down the slide for the first time.
| Macey's face might look a little frightened, but they both had tons of fun!!! |

The chillin's just chillin and other news...
The children have enjoyed summer to the fullest, maybe they enjoy it so much because they get Popsicles every day!!!
Macey always surprises me at what a big girl she is, and all that she can do. She is growing up way too fast. Oh and this big guy, started swimming lessons...
Their last lesson they jumped off the diving board, this was the first time for Parker, and he did Great!
Parker loves all 3 of his teachers, and he is super excited to go every morning.
In other news:
I have felt so flustered and out of it since having Macey, 2 kids has been a little crazy, so as of lately I have been trying and wanting to try to... *Be more prepared *Read a book a month *Be more organized *Be more motivated *Walk daily *Be more supportive *Be more active * Be friendlier *More thoughtful *Be more considerate *Be more patient *Have more routines
It might sound kind of boring for everyone, but it's what I need at this moment.
Big news for Aaron and our family, hopefully by September Aaron will be part of the PGA program and be a golf pro!!! His dream job, after working at a golf course for the past 12 years it's about time.

Our little Tooele-cation...
Nothing like going back to the little town you grew up in.
Even if I do go out every week to visit family, this weekend was a little different.
We made a little vacation out of my hometown...
We set up camp in my parents backyard and enjoyed our time their...
Drive in movie, popcorn, snow cones, trains, museums, swimming, golfing, dunk tanks, cousins, tent, family, free t-shirts, contests, prizes and much more...
In back of papa's truck at the drive in... Shrek 4 and How to train your dragon
At the old train station, ringing the bell
Mine bike... to go on the train tracks
Macey absolutely loves swimming
and snow cones, Popsicles and anything else cold and yummy
And my favorite part about the weekend, was watching Aaron get dunked in the dunk tank.

Bug suckin' birthday
Our adorable niece turned 9 years old, and we had the opportunity to celebrate with her. We had so much fun with her like always and we were so glad we had the chance to share it with her. But I will have to say, that we were super stoked to give her, her birthday gift, we got her a bug sucker. We might have been a little more obsessed with it than anyone else but we thought it was awesome.
Happy 9th Birthday Courtney!!!

Golf Ball hunting
We love when we get up to go up to the golf course and visit daddy, but especially when we get to go out on the course, drive the carts and go hunting for golf balls.
We take an old tube sock to collect all the balls we find.
Aaron and Parker in the trees beginning their hunt.
Our trip up to the course is even better when we see deer

Free Day... This is the place...
We met up with some friends and took advantage of the free day at this is the place.
Oh boy! Was it hot!
We participated in a few of their crafts... First stop, cracking open dinosaur eggs!!!
After the crafts, next stop was to the train...
These boys were all super excited to ride on the train, the train took us to all the bounce houses.
Then to...
The animal petting area...
In this picture they are explaining to each other what is the goats ears and which ones are the horns.
We had lots of fun, and we took full advantage of all the free Popsicles because it was so hot!

Back in the day...
The past few days Aaron and I have been reminiscing of when we were younger and telling "back in the day" stories, one night we even stayed up till 3am talking about the words we use to say in elementary; chill out, dude, da bomb, rad, chicken butt and so many other phrases. Then we went onto POGS, how we use to skip recess just to play.
A few of my favorites back in the 1990's
LA lightsPogs
Jelly shoes
Neon everything, hot pink, side ponytails, crimped hair, leggings, big guess sweatshirts, fanny packs.
I really must be getting old.
Good times!
