Kenna Goodman (28) has been recently diagnosed with a grade 4 cancerous brain tumor called Medulloblastoma.

Kenna had surgery to remove the tumor and is now undergoing radiation and chemo therapy in hopes to destroy any residual cancer cells in her brain and spinal column.

She has three adorable children ages 6, 4, and 1 and is terrified they will grow up without their mommy.

I broke down and did it...

I don't know if any of you remember my skinny jean story...
Well if not a quick recap, I got stuck in them in the dressing room, it was terrible, the end!
Since then every time I go to the store I try them on, and I always end up deciding that I look like a penguin, and I ask myself why I even tried them on, after about a dozen attempts on the skinny jeans I broke down and bought a pair for my birthday, now the real test is if I ever wear them out in public.

My skinny jeans!

I don't even know how to stand in skinny jeans, how am I suppose to walk or wear them out in public! hahaha!

Yellowstone 2010

Parker and his 4 cousins are gone for 10 days on their grandkid trip with Papa and Grandma Luke in Yellowstone...
But we were lucky enough to be invited up for a few days and enjoy some of the fun too

The parents, so me and my siblings had the chance to go river rafting.
The kids weren't so sure about our wet suits.

We spent some time swimming...
I love this pic of Parker, he looks so long.

(Papa, Tyler, Parker, Courtney, Kenzie, Me and Macey)

(Most of the crew... Grandma, Courtney, Wendy, Tyler, Parker, Aaron, Jeremy, Kenzie, Ashley, Gabriella and Trevor... Minus me, papa and Macey)

And the next few pictures....
This is what you do in a house that was built in the 1970's, has red shag carpet, a sauna, and you stay up late with your siblings...

WHERE'S KENNA?
Yep, that was our room, matching wall paper and curtains...

Yellowstone was a blast, i'm glad we got to go up and enjoy a few days with the family.
Parker is still up there having a blast with his grandparents and cousins for a few more days.
Thanks Mom and Dad!!!

Our gorgeous baby girl, Macey, is now 3 months old...
At 3 months old Macey loves to watch her brother play.
Rolls over and over and over.
Doesn't like to be alone.
Sleeps great at night!
Is very happy, smiles, laughs, coos, and loves to sing.
Can sit almost by herself.
Is eating rice cereal and drinking apple juice.
Loves to be held.
Likes to play with hers and Parker's toys, she can reach and grab.
And is just a joy in our family, we all lover her!

Swagger Wagon

Never ever wanted a mini van till I saw this video...
Thanks Ms. Catie P.

Chalk...

This last weekend we wandered down to gateway for the evening...
Ate some dinner, went and watched Toy Story 3 :), and ventured out and walked through the sidewalk chalk festival. It was absolutely amazing watching all the talented people work with their hands. I wish we would have gone back the next day to see all the finished pictures. But here are a few of our favorites...
Who doesn't love Dr. Seuss?
One of Parker's favorites...
My favorite...

Over cooked Father's day...

Happy Father's Day to all the amazing men in my life...
To all my wonderful grandpas who have taught me love, respect and how to gut my own fish.
To my amazing father in law who has accepted me into their family and treated me as his own daughter.
To my terrific dad who has loved me unconditionally through the years, and has taught me pretty much everything I know.
And last but not least my very talented husband who sticks with me even through all my nonsense and my crazy on time and never being late.

The night before Father's day I decided to hide Aaron's gifts in the oven so he wouldn't be able to find them, because there aren't too many places to hide things in our house.  The next morning I get up and start making breakfast, I baked cinnamon rolls, so I started to pre-heat the oven, next thing I smell a little bit of burnt plastic... Yep, I forgot to take his presents out before pre-heating.  All the gifts were a little toasty but not burnt, and the cinnamon rolls turned out yummy!
Lesson learned-- Oven is not the best place to hide gifts.

The Orange Bike...

Parker wanted a big boy 2 wheeler bike for his birthday.
So we took him to the D.I. and he picked one out...

Parker and Aaron worked on the bike...
fixed the back wheel and seat
put on training wheels
and
painted it orange...
Now Parker has a big bike and can go on bike rides to the park with his cousins.

GIRL'S CAMP...

I was lucky enough to join our ward up at girl's camp.  I was seriously giddy about going up.  The girls went up Tuesday morning to set up camp and do some other activities,  then I joined them all on Wednesday for the day. When Wednesday morning came around I was up and ready to go by 6:30am, but Aaron wouldn't let me go yet, he said I at least had to wait till they were awake.
That day it was rainy, cold, and windy but we still had a blast, chatting in the tent, playing games, doing crafts, eating amazing food, and the best part their skit (which I still can't upload?)  But after being up their all day I was really excited I was able to go home and sleep in my bed. That night it snowed on the poor girls and they woke up to ice everywhere, so basically they froze.
Thursday was a much better day, they were all really tired though and ready to go home.  But it was still lots of fun, the girls got beautiful letters from home and they had dinner with the bishopric and the best testimony meeting around the fire.
I feel very lucky that I had the opportunity to go up to girls camp.
Macey was a trooper up at girls camp and all the girls just seemed to adore her!

It's gone...

This little button to download videos has disappeared from my blog.  Is there a new or different way to download videos now???
I have a cute video I want to share...
HELP!!!

ALFEE...

I would like to welcome you to Alfee, well actually Parker would like to introduce you to Alfee.
I actually don't know much about him like, what color he is, how big, how old, or where he came from.
Alfee joined our family about 8 months ago, he first arrived in our basement, Parker was quite scared of him then, Parker would go down and fight him with golf clubs and hangers, but as the months passed, Parker and Alfee became the best of friends, Parker no longer fights him, and will now feed him socks from the dryer.
Alfee will come upstairs occasionally but not stay long, Alfee likes to be in the basement best of all, maybe cause it is cooler down there. He really doesn't like to go outside, he has joined us on our way to church twice, and will sometimes even dress up in a suit and tie.  Alfee was at first a foreigner to our family, but now he is part of our family. Alfee is Parker's imaginary monster friend.

I wonder if Parker's imaginary friend looks like any of these...
He also thinks we have a badger in the sink, but it's just the garbage disposal.

Parker's 3rd Birthday...

This is what it looks like to be 3 years old...
Exhausted after opening presents.
Reading his new book (Where the wild things are), in his new Toy Story sleeping bag.
Playing video games, and eating pizza at Chuck e cheeses.
What a fun, busy 3rd birthday!

Parker sure is growing and becoming such a big boy. We love him very much and are so grateful to have him in our family. He is a good big brother to Macey, and a joy to me and Aaron. Mr. P. Mack always keeps us on our toes going, going and going.
We love him very much!
HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY PARKER MACK!!!
