Kenna Goodman (28) has been recently diagnosed with a grade 4 cancerous brain tumor called Medulloblastoma.

Kenna had surgery to remove the tumor and is now undergoing radiation and chemo therapy in hopes to destroy any residual cancer cells in her brain and spinal column.

She has three adorable children ages 6, 4, and 1 and is terrified they will grow up without their mommy.

ReVamped

This is my new little project.
Revamped Magazine Holders
Fun, Easy, Cute, and did I mention super cheap.

ALL DRESSED UP

We had the opportunity to get all dressed up and go to Tony(Aaron's brother) and Lexie's wedding. We had lots of fun, but it was an exhausting weekend and week of wedding stuff.

Parker wasn't to happy to get all dressed up, but he sure did look good.

Towards the end of the night. I feel bad, that I didn't get more pics of them, but I thought my own boys were looking too good, and I guess I forgot to take more pics of the bride and groom.

Cheese!

Oh, you could just eat up this little man.

The cake was divine.

My handsome boys. I sure do love them.

Aaron and his date Amber, walking down the aisle.

This reminds me of an awkward high school dance pic.

The Groomsmen.
Greg, Aaron, Tony, Tanner, and Dana

And my handsome man, the best part of the night, was I got to go home with him.

But we are really so excited that Tony and Lexie got married, and i'm really excited to have another girl in the Goodman Family so i'm not alone anymore.
Also thanks to my mom for watching Parker all night and all day during the wedding.
We sure do love our families!

Party time!!!

We have had the chance to party all weekend.

And we were livin it up...

Maybe a little too much.

The Handsome Brothers... Aaron, Tony, and Greg

No worries folks, it just the fake stuff.

All because these 2 decided to get married.

I'm a goof and didn't rotate my pic.

Gets me everytime...

This is how last night went at our house....

Regular routine, bath, stories, prayers, hugs and kisses, etc...

GOOD NIGHT!!!

Everyone is snug in their beds, and then all of a sudden you hear the little pitter-patter of small feet on the wood floor, and then it stops right in front of our bedroom door, and you hear Parker's little voice as he bursts into our bedroom .... "Dad, I just wanna give you a hug".
Hugs are given then back to bed.

Next, you start to hear roaring so you ask Parker, "What is going on in there", Parker responds, " Oh mom, its just a dinosaur under my bed."

The night continues on, and then you hear the little pitter-patter of feet again towards our bedroom, but this time as Parker gets to our room he crawls into our room to my side of the bed and softly says, " Mom, can I have a kiss please?"
Kisses are given and then back to bed.

Then as it is getting later, we are all still in our beds, drifting off and then you hear Parker's little sniffle, so we ask, " What is wrong buddy", Parker whispers, "I'm scared".

Most of the time if Parker wakes up in the night or fights going back to sleep we always just send him back to bed, but when the little guy says he is SCARED, it gets us every time and breaks both of our hearts.

Some nights with a child are restless and tired, but so worth it.

The circus is coming to town...

But Parker isn't allowed to go, because his mom hates clowns.
So I toughed it up and took him to the elephant walk, a little parade put on by the circus.

Check out this pic. We all loaded up and headed down to gateway 5 moms and 8 kids.

I think there were about 10 elephants walking straight in a line holding each others tails.

I think Parker enjoyed it and had fun, but this is the closest I will be getting to a circus and clowns anytime soon.

5 Stitches at 3a.m.

Parker had his first big injury where we had to go visit the Emergency Room... Parker was being superman very late at night and hit the corner of the t.v. stand and split his chin up. We made it to the hospital and he was so brave and did so good.

Parker and I waiting in his room waiting for the Dr.
Showing dad his bracelet with his name on it.

Couple hours later, still waiting and we are tired by this time its about 2am.

3am they came in, hooked him up to all the monitors for the sedation and were about to start, one problem the sedation didn't relax Parker, it did the opposite, he became super hyper, and uncontrollable, so they had to wrap him up tight and hold him down for his stitches.

He did really good though, he just kept saying, "Mommy I don't like this, I wanna go home"

7 hours later with 5 stitches in his chin, we made it home by 5a.m.

WHAT A BIG BOY!

We're Back and Alive!!!

Boys will be boys...

Parker loves playing with his buddy Benton, these boys really are the best of friends. They just beg to be with each other, and enjoy every minute they get.

On another note we went to Lucy's 1st birthday party(pictured in the middle) and had a blast with great friends.

(Parker snuck in the girls only pic)

Great Neighbors

I am so glad for such good friends that live only a block away, and for all the fun we get to have together.
We decided we needed to take Ms. Suzanne out before her baby was born, so we went and had a great girls night out, even if we don't know how to act in public and we embarrass our selves like crazy, it was so much fun.
I had to wait till Melissa posted these pics because she was the only one that had a camera that night, and then I stole them from her blog (oops).
