Kenna Goodman (28) has been recently diagnosed with a grade 4 cancerous brain tumor called Medulloblastoma.

Kenna had surgery to remove the tumor and is now undergoing radiation and chemo therapy in hopes to destroy any residual cancer cells in her brain and spinal column.

She has three adorable children ages 6, 4, and 1 and is terrified they will grow up without their mommy.

CARBON MONOXIDE

Last night at 3:39 a.m. My husband and I hear beep... beep... beep...pause for 30 seconds and again beep... beep... beep... beep pause for 30 seconds. So Aaron gets out of bed to check things out, it ends up being our Carbon Monoxide detector going off. We calmly opened up all the windows, turned off the heater and all the other appliances, and Aaron moved the detector to another room, and still beep... beep... beep...pause for 30 seconds. We call poison control and tell them our detector is going off and she said because that it is pausing for 30 seconds between each set of beeps not to be worried, and as long as none of us are having a hard time breathing, flu like symptoms, and a headache, we should be fine. ( I didn't want to take the should chance.) Well we did not have any symptoms, but the detector was still going off, and we are still worried. About 4:30 a.m. we pack up and leave the house for the rest of the night. Now today we will have questar come and check out our house and let us know if it is safe to return, and probably go buy another carbon monoxide detector. At this moment we don't know if our house had carbon monoxide poisoning in it, but we are sure thankful for our detector to wake us up and get us out of the house so we didn't have to find out the hard way. I'll keep you posted with the news which we receive later today.
But I do encourage all of you that do not have a carbon monoxide detector to go out and buy one now, who knows it could save your life.

GOAL

I must be crazy, but I am setting myself a goal. And this goal is to run in the Salt Lake City 1/2 marathon.
I use to run a lot, all the time, every night, just miles upon miles upon miles, and then I got married and had a child and my passion for running has just fadded away. I still love to run, but I just don't do it as much as I would like. So I decided I have a couple of months to prepare. My goal is not to get a good time, my goal is to just finish the race and cross that line. I have till April 18th so I better put on my running shoes and start racking up the miles, because a 1/2 marathon is 13.1 miles. I am going to need help for this. Any support would be great. Wish me luck.

Fun Week

*We had a fun week... Parker and I spent a day baking, and he is such a big helper with the flour ( no worries we did not use the flour he played in).

*Also this past week Uncle Tony came home to visit from Arizona, and that was a lot of fun to spend time with him and celebrate his birthday (Happy Birthday Tony).

*Lots of working out this week (very much needed after the holidays)
Pilates, Aerobics, Basketball, and Yoga... I'm sore very sore. But can't wait for some more.

*Watched Season 2 of LOST with my hubs. We check movies and shows out from the library.
*Went to dinner with the in-laws.
*Went out to Tooele for dinner with the Luke Fam. And played with the big dogs.
*Went to the Temple.
*Also we had the chance to go see the University of Utah Parade, and have free donuts, cookies, and apple cider. It was fun to see all the red. GO UTES!

Had another great week with the family spending time together. Which sometimes can be very exhausting... Parker was so wore out, he fell asleep on Tootsie.

School is back in session

School is back in session for my wonderful husband Aaron.
I wish we could say that he is almost done, but he isn't, but at least we can see a future in sight. He is closer to graduating, only 5 classes needed after this semester, and hopefully this May he will be able to apply for Dental school. In the mean time he is more busier than ever with school, volunteering, observing, homework, and being a great dad. Parker and I are very proud of Aaron, and all the hard work he puts in. We wish Aaron a great semester, and can't wait to see where tomorrow takes us together as a family. We love this adventure in life. Good Luck!

FLORIDA

We are back from a wonderful vacation in Florida.
We were lucky enough that my parents took all the
kids and grand-kids to Florida for a fun warm vacation
after Christmas to Disney-world. We all flew out the
morning after Christmas, and enjoyed 10 amazing days in the 80 degree weather. This first picture is of Aaron, Parker and his cousins Courtney and Kenzie at the beach.

This next picture is of the Orlando Temple. Very Beautiful.

Epcot was tons of fun and these next few pictures are from there.
Parker and I with the camel.

Parker and Aaron in the telephone booth.

EPCOT: Aaron, Kenna, Parker, Courtney, and Kenzie.

Parker loved the petting zoo at the Wild Animal Kingdom.

Parker was always so excited to see his cousins.

Getting ready to go into the 3D movie with their glasses.

Aaron and Parker riding the ant backwards.

Parker loved this little dude.

Parkers all time favorite ride. The carousel, him
and Aaron went on it over and over again.
