August Pictures

Staci likes to "swim" on the floor...or as Kris names this picture..."I'm safe". ha

Dangerous to leave her for just a couple of minutes...

Her version of talking on the phone.

Awwwwwwww..........

Full belly!

One of her favorite games at the moment...she loves having a blanket over her face. ha

Love a happy baby!

Busy morning...

I wiped something off the floor...so she started wiping her book. Too cute.

Loves to swim.

This is what happens when I don't lay out her clothes for the day... :)

August

This month has been a pretty crazy one.

First off, Kris has had one interview with a PA school and another one scheduled for next month. Everyone cross their fingers!

Staci has had her first ear infection!! She actually started out with a cough/congestion and then I noticed her eyes were gross, like puss coming out of them, swollen shut, etc. Well I got home from work one day took one look at her and called the doctors office. I thought maybe she had pink eye or something. Turns out she had a pretty bad ear infection. Poor baby. She was miserable! Started antibiotics right away and now she is as happy as can be. The picture below looks like she is in a horror film but...she woke up from a nap and was crying for thirty minutes straight. So...her eyes are really red from that.
Here is another one after her eyes calmed down from the crying...they still look bad though. Then the next day...a little better but still a long way to go.

Our A/C has gone out twice...in one week! One of the days it was when I took Staci to the doctor. So that was a really fun filled afternoon for me. Then again a few days later. I'm glad I had plans to go down to Casa Grande that evening to have a fun sister's night...so I just took stuff and we stayed the night down there. Thank goodness we are renting and don't have to deal with that right now.

Other than that just working...making yummy treats I find online...and getting ready for number 2 to be here! I'm 10 weeks along so this baby is due in March. They (I almost said the girls...haha) will be 22 months apart. I always wanted my babies close so I'm super excited for this!!

Walking

Staci has been walking a little here and there for a little while. About a week and a half ago she finally "stood up" by herself and since then she has been unstoppable! She loves to walk everywhere (church is spent in the halls since she just wants to walk). But it's so fun to see her still learning. She puts her arms out a bit to help balance her and she still wobbles. So cute I love it!!

San Diego 2011

San Diego came and went so fast this year! We were only able to go out for part of the week but hey...something is better than nothing. The majority of my family was there (we missed you Todd and Kim!) so it was fun for us all to be together laughing/playing games/laying out on the beach, etc. Staci had fun on the beach but didn't sleep the best at night and of course was up super early every morning. Regardless, we had a blast!

I think the only time anyone drinks a Slurpee is on the beach. Thanks to the 7-11 that is right by where we stay.
Happy Baby.
San Diego is just not complete without the slide.
Staci LOVES her double aunt Alissa!! :)
Scuba Steve...AKA Conner walking down the street like this JUST to get a free frozen yogurt. I love my family!
Yummy Sand...
Crazy beach hair...I guess that goes for the both of us. :)

Burying Kayla. Ha!
With Uncle Conner.
Mmmmmm Celery!
Super fun time. The countdown is on for next year already. Can't wait!!

Dad is so funny!

Kris took this video today. SO cute! All he was doing was throwing the diaper behind him and catching it...it's the little things i guess. :)

4th of July

We decided to head up to the Grandparents Mullenaux cabin for the Holiday weekend. So Saturday morning we met up with Mom Michele and Marin and all headed up. The drive was going pretty well until someone got a little car sick....Poor baby started throwing up. So we had to pull over and get her cleaned up and changed, and clean out her car seat. I'm happy we had a cover on the car seat so we could just take that off and worry about cleaning the straps. Not the best way to start the weekend...

We got to the cabin and had a chance to hang out and relax for a bit. It was so nice to be in cooler weather! Here is Staci reading...she loves her books!

Hanging out with Grandma...
Our family after dinner...
Little did i know that the chicken salad I got for dinner would be poisonous!! I woke up on Sunday and was so sick. I couldn't keep anything down ALL day! It really was annoying. I am not a person who is "sick" a lot so when I am complaining about it or am just laying there not wanting to do anything...you know it's bad. I managed to make it up to see Kris and Staci on the quad. So cute! But other than that I was pretty useless that day.

Here is one of the raccoons that Grandma leaves food out for...
I was feeling better when I woke up on Monday so I got to go to the Eager 4th of July parade. YAY! :) Staci enjoyed it...doesn't she look thrilled! She actually wouldn't look at me long enough to get a good picture because of all the passing things on the street.
After that we went to Aunt Pattie's cabin for a family BBQ, then headed back down the mountain around 2ish. Surprisingly we didn't hit too much traffic and made it home at an okay time. The car ride made me a little queasy again so I'm glad to be home in my own bed but it was a fun weekend for the most part. Here are some pictures of the fire damage to the mountain...so sad!

And here are some pictures from our drive home...

Happy 4th!

Weekend Update

Most people get to sleep in on their weekends...but not me! This little one was up and ready to go at 5:30 on Saturday morning. So I got her some milk, put her Baby Einstein in and sat her in her chair. She was as happy as can be.
Movie, followed by playing with some tupperware...

Then after the errands and such helping Mom with the dishes...

I love being able to have the weekends off and hang out with my family. My birthday was this past Thursday so we went to to celebrate for lunch and then Marin came over to be with Staci while we went out for date night. Red Robin, Dave & Busters, and Cold Stone. Fun and Yum!
