Baseball

Growing up we would go to the Idaho Falls Braves games a few times a year. Usually with my uncle and his box seats. My favorite thing about going was the ice cream in the baseball cap. I'm not sure exactly why but that was the one thing I always wanted when we went to the games. (Plus the baseball caps made great cabage patch doll hats)
Well we took Isaac to his first Idaho Falls Chuckars game and he loved it! I of course had to get him the baseball hat with icecream.

I love my kids

Isaac and Gracie are getting to where they love being around each other. They have been getting along really well but now Gracie is getting old enough that she interacts with Isaac and he loves it. She will squeal at him and look for him. She loves it when he comes over to play with her when she is in her entertainer. It is so cute when she is crying or starting to fuss and he will go over to her and try to comfort her by patting her on the back and saying "shhh it's okay gracie" He is such a good big brother and I love being the mom to two beautiful kids. It's crazy how much they look alike in these pictures.

"Oh no, COLD!"

Isaac woke up from his nap yesterday and went to the window and this is what he saw.
And this is what he said "Oh no, COLD!"
That is my thought exactly. Where did fall go? We went from end of summer and comfortable warm and then to this. My favorite season is fall. I don't know how I know that because here we don't usually see fall. It must just be the idea I have in my head of how wonderful it is that I love. Well here's to winter!

Pictures of Deuce

I have finally got my camera uploaded, it took forever because I have so many pictures on there and it hasn't been docked in awhile but here are the beautiful pictures of Andrew!

Fair

We took the kids to the east Idaho State Fair a few weeks ago. We had so much fun. I love the food! Isaac had fun seeing all the people and he loved the peting zoo.

ARGGHHHHH!

So my friend Tami just called me and said "you so should have applied to the nursing program this year" I haven't applied because I've been trying to get my GPA up so I know for sure I'm getting in. Well they just finished taking applications and they only had 80 people apply for 70 slots. Now I am kicking myself for not applying. I just didn't want to fork out the $500 application fees for a possibility. I guess right now is just not the time for me. It will happen I just want to be done with school already and enjoy my kids. Note to all of you out there that don't have kids yet Get school done NOW!

1 down a million to go

Okay so not really a million but it sure feels that way. I took my first anat and phys test last night. I am so glad it's over! I stress myself out way to bad over tests. I am really stressing and putting on extra pressure because I could really use a good grade in this class to apply and get into the nursing program. I guess I'll just do what I can and see what happens.

Happy Birthday to me!

The 14th was my 27th birthday. It was an awful day. I had two huge tests I had to study for and my children decided to be very clingy that day. It breaks my heart when I have to do homework instead of being with them. Someday this will all be worth it.

Welcome Deuce!

Andrew Alexander II was born September 12th at 12:03 am. I can't find my camera right now (I told you things were crazy) so I will post pictures later. I am so excited to be an aunt. He is so cute. He weighed 6lbs 15 ounces. Just a light weight. I am so glad my sister let me share the experience with her. Both of my babies have been c-section so seeing him be born was an experience I will never forget. You women who go thru labor are so strong and I have all the respect for you in the world. Deuce has red hair and is just beautiful. We have called him Deuce the whole pregnancy and it has stuck. That is what Isaac knows him by. Welcome to the family Deuce! We love you and are so glad that you are here. Be patient with our crazy family!

Happy Birthday Dad!

I have the greatest dad ever! It makes me so sad that we don't live closer. It was his birthday on the 12th and I was lucky enough to get to spend it with him. I'm so thankful for the time he spent with me while he was here. I really, really needed that dad time. Thanks Dad! I love you!

Crazy life

I apologize to anyone who checks this. I haven't kept it up to date very well the past few weeks. It's like a tornado has gone thru our lives and screwed up our whole routines and I don't do well when I'm not on a routine. So here are a ton of updates to catch this thing up!

Isaac got his "big boy" bed today. I was so excited until I put him to bed in it tonight. Then I cried. He doesn't look like a little boy to me anymore. He is growing up so fast. He was so excited to see all his Thomas bedding that he got for his birthday out. He's been in his bed for about 30 minutes now and we haven't heard a word. We thought with it being different he would have a hard time going to sleep. He was too big for that little toddler bed so I bet he is way more comfortable all spread out. We'll see how the rest of the night goes.
