CAN’T DECIDE were Old School Hardcore band from United Kingdom.
CAN’T DECIDE was first heard in the same place where many bands were heard in the late 1980s – on John Peel’s show. Introducing them as “ex members of HERESY and RIPCORD” it is true to say that I was somewhat taken aback when I heard “Haven’t We Met Before” for that very first time, as what came out of the speakers that night was much more melodic in sound than their previous musical endeavours up to that point, and reminded me a lot of SNFU rather than SIEGE! Of course later on I was to learn that the band members all wanted to have a go at something more melodic, and CAN’T DECIDE reflected that – and what's more delivered!
In the two years that followed the band released the debut album, the “Five Seven Nine Eleven” mini album and a split 7” with MEATFLY. All the tracks from those, plus the bands original (unreleased) 11 song demo all appear on discography CD released on the Retro Series. CAN’T DECIDE weren’t around for that long, but they left us with a quite marvellous bunch of songs to remember them by!
