Crucified Truth

Crucified Truth was Hardcore Punk band from Brisbane Australia. Much like the UK Hardcore scene at the time, which was becoming influenced by faster American bands in addition to the most Hardcore UK sounds of bands like Discharge, Chaos UK and Disorder, Crucified Truth seems to adopt a a style similarly influenced by UK Punk, and American Hardcore Punk of the era. Formed in 1983 by brothers Paul Hanlon and Mark Hanlon while still in school. Played thei first show in 1984 and played all the usual haunts in and around Brisbane. Did a couple of tours to Sydney and Melbourne 1986 and 1986. Released 17 song cassette "Death Sports (A Political Game)" in 1985 then the "Communication" 7inch in 1986. Played their last show in late 1988 and broke up not long after.
