Rum Lads

New Sheffield based band Rum Lads consisting of Richie (Rum Lad) on Vocals, Newts Newton (Angelic Upstarts) on guitars, Si Cadelik on bass and Jim the Fin Finlayson on drums have their debut album Noise Terrorists ready for your ears. Playing songs for the working classes, with honest tales of council estates and a pissed off, run down Britain with a huge anti conservative, anti fascism stance.

That’s the only press release you’re gonna get from Richie Young. No polished turds or wankathon reading from his mouth, just a plain old statement from a bloke who makes an anti Tory look like a Tory’s auntie (or uncle). 

Richie has sort of reinvented himself after his stint at Rebellion last year fronting The Angelic Upstarts in memory of Mensi. After planting his own seed of getting a full band together with this down to earth band of brothers, it has grown into a fully fledged punk band that will have the old and new school melding together for some mental as fuck chanting and a top as fuck day out!
