Malad

Malad is a new Punk Rock band from the dutch South with former and current members of Discipline, The Reapers, The Obnoxious, Suicidal Taxi and ZDA. Malad is a band that doesn't fit in any box. Not just punkrock, not just Oi!, not just some dirty rock 'n roll. A new fresh formation with ex- and current members from bands like The Reapers, Roughed Up, Crown Court, Hard Wax, Day Drinker and The Skaggers. They are kicking an energetic and fresh sound straight from the city streets of the Netherlands.Because people get sick and frustrated when certain needs can't get no output, the best cure us was to start jamming. This resulted in singalongs over 70's punkrock tunes and catchy hooks. But besides dancing with your girl, the pit must be fed. So we decided to throw in some pissed off up tempo beats to get the thing started. People that already had the pleasure to hear some of Malad's tunes say that UK subs and Circle Jerks come to mind. Others say they feel the same aggression as in the sounds of GBH and Motörhead.
