Glitter Trash

 

Glitter Trash is a Los Angeles based Punk Rock band that originated from the collapsed, apocalyptic post-industrial streets of Detroit's inner city. The band brings the audience hard driving Rock reminiscent of their predecessors "The Stooges" and "The MC5", mixing in chunks of New York's late 1970's CBGB's scene and London's Glam and Punk sound. Glitter Trash's aggressive stage show often draws a wide range of comparisons including "The Dead Boys", "The Plasmatics" and "The Sex Pistols". Their stripped down writing style and outsider approach to their songs take listeners back to the times when larger-than-life personalities like Iggy Pop, Wendy O. Williams, Stiv Bators and John Lydon brought great music and energetic stage shows to the small and mid-level stages. The band relocated to Los Angeles in the summer of 2017 and is currently signed to Golden Robot's Die Laughing Records label.
