Watch Out Wall Street!

This handsome little fellow is so quick with his computer it is almost scary. He can point, click and download faster than I can read. Plus, his memory is quick, knowing which screen will pop up next and where he needs to go without even reading the page. He is learning to buy "wool and milk" for better profits, capitalize on market shares, and manage an online business and he is only 7! Watch Out Wall Street, Here He Comes!

Multi-tasking at its best!

Ty is ready for dance, practicing the piano, and if you look closely stopping every few songs to chew a quick bite of her after-school snack that is sitting beside her on the piano bench. Oh, the life of a very busy 6th grader. I'm so proud of her!

Happy New Year 2010!

Happy New Year 2010!!!!! We had fun lighting sparklers to welcome the new year after going to the movie--we went to see "Alvin and the Chipmunks, the Squeekwell." Due to Quinn's "Sparkler Fear" our kids don't get to do sparklers very often. This time our kids did get to hold them, much to their Daddy's terror.... but not without safety comments the entire time.... "nobody wants to loose an eye". We love YOU QUINN!!!!

From skiing to swimming, these kids are having a ball! We had a very happy, fun filled, busy January. School, orthodontist, 8 trips to dance, 3 sleepovers, and Trixie needs a haircut! Run here, run there.... It has snowed a few times, requiring some snowplowing, reading, piano, healthier meals, work, taxes, and church jobs. Boy, it's a crazy life, but we are so blessed to do so much! Here's to a successful and FUN 2010.

We were so lucky to have some great friends give us tickets to the BYU Game! It was a Blast as you can see! Jaxon really got into the facepainting before we left... What a good fan! Ty Loved the whole day! She is my little pal these days! Love you sweetie. GO BLUE! Quinn and I had so much fun reliving the old BYU memories and bought shirts for each of us to wear to games at home in the basement. Party at our house! Game Days Rock!

This is one handsome 1st grader! He is going to have so much fun making his class laugh! His cute teacher won't know how to respond to such a quick witted little man. However, hopefully she will enjoy his desire to work hard and play hard. He is ready to learn!

Wow, Tyler is ready for 6th Grade and Morgan Middle School... EEK, I'm so not ready, but she sure is! She was stylin' in her new jacket and feeling so grown up. Boy time is going much to fast for me!

FINALLY lost a tooth! It was such a big deal for a kindergartener. But unfortunately, he didn't get into the Lost Tooth Club. But now, he is an official member! WAHOO!!!!

Grandma, these photos are for you because I know how you love photos of the kids and how often you check your blog. (And for not updating often, so sorry. But I want you to know we do think about you all the time)

One of the best family activities we did this summer was attend the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House. What a fantastic opportunity to show the kids the inside of a temple and get them excited about going someday to marry their sweetheart there. It was so neat. They did a video at the first with an explanation and passed out a flyer of the different rooms. Jaxon had his flyer open the entire time, following which room was which, "Dad, I think we're in this one now". They had so many questions and enjoyed the spirit there. It is so neat to see it through their eyes for the first time! You can see Jaxon's cute little arm around Ty's shoulder in the photo of the gardens. Our family is so important to each of us and the knowledge that we will be together forever really means a lot to Quinn and I, but it was impressive to learn how important that is to Jaxon and Tyler.
