The Spider.....

Hailey has made friends with a black widow despite my best attempts to discourage this. Blake is a big insect lover and has made one out of Hailey too. this spider has taken up residence in the garage and Hailey always has to check to make sure she is there every time we go out there. Oh well, at least she isn't trying to burn it with a magnifying glass or anything!

Summer Fun!

One of my favorite songs is "In the Summertime". You know the one? It is old and Blake says sounds white trashy. I don't care though. It always fits summer perfectly! Spencer' s first swing experience. He was so happy. Sometimes I watch my nephew, Dillon. I came outside the other day to find these two hanging out. It was pretty cute. Hailey is totally into dressing up and love the Fancy Nancy books. I think she might have been Fancy Nancy in a former life. Holding his cup. What a big boy. Can't believe how fast time is going. He tried some real food today, some pasta and sauce, and he was so happy. He has been looking at our food with extreme jealousy recently, so it was good to see him happily eating. We got this rocking horse for $4. Hailley loves it and always wants Spencer to get on it. But then she wants him off and tries to get hiim off herself...enough said. Poopy pants (as we like to refer to Spencer) can walk along furniture now .Yikes. He is doing t...

Cool Auntie Sarah

My sister, Sarah, has been a fun aunt. The nieces and nephews all like her and have fun with her. She came over Monday night and filled water balloons with Hailey for over an hour and got totally soaked. She even let Hailey overfill the water balloons to get her all wet. It was great fun listening to Justin Timberlake as loud as we wanted to too.=) Sarah even slept over and didn't get to mad when Spencer had to cry it out that night for an hour. Thanks, Sarah!!

Survival

We are almost finished with our daddy vacation......hooray!! It really hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be. Yes,I still prefer to have Blake at home with us, but we have managed okay. The house is pretty clean, the kids have had regular baths, and we have been able to do things we don't usually do. The real question is will I be able to make it through the next few weeks when he will be in and out of town?! I think so, but I might need a mommy vacation when this is all done! Thanks to my wonderful, fabulous, terrific, awesome sister, Sarah, I am going out all alone tomorrow. No crawling, biting, pooping, peeing, crying, time outing (is that a word), etc. Of course, I will miss (?) the laughing and stuff, but I think I will survive. I am going to see Indiana Jones....all by myself.....at 930 in the morning. Weird, I know. I have never gone to a movie by myself, but the main idea is "by myself!" I am pretty sure I will survive. Thanks again, Sayrah!
