Loving Good Mail!

I have been racing my boys to the mailbox because of the good mail that I have found in there lately!
My COLLEGE ROOMMATE, Sweet Ellen, who I haven't talked to in...FOREVER...totally surprised me with a box of goodies! She actually read my blog and sent me things that she knew would bring me joy (including an apron!)! Ellen, I know you are out there...Thank you girl! You are such a thoughtful person- you haven't changed a bit~
Kim, who is completely and totally thoughtful sent me this calendar to keep all my social events in line. Really, I am a very busy little lady...Hee Hee! Thank you Kim, I love it!
While my goal was to be a better good mailer...I have been blessed with some of my own. I am inspired to go buy some stamps! Thanks girls!

Good Mail Question...

Can you get too much good mail??
(Thanks Sabs for the K-man's birthday loot!)
Answer: NO!!! Just look at the K-man's face!!
(Thanks Smiths for the Daniel and the Lions Den Book and figures
AND for the baseball outfits for Little Bit!

The K-man got over 10 birthday cards in the mail for his B-day and he jumped up and down about each one of them! Thanks for all the love shown to "My" K-man! You want to see a Mother smile?...show love to her children~Author , Me!
When we got back from our Dino Birthday Weekend this wonderful Dino shirt and card were waiting on our front porch for the K-Man! They are from Willie- Thanks Sneads!

Ok...do you think my K-man likes mail or what?!?
Annelise sent books AND dino stuff!
You would think that we have seen all the Dino stuff there is ...Wrong!

AND Holly sent me the most stylish holder for my Grocery Game Coupons!

A girl has to look good even digging through coupons!! Thanks girl-

Finally, with all of the good mail received it is my turn to share in the fun!! I loaded my goodie boxes and went to our famous country post office and visited Dixie, our personal post master!

A funny note: The other day I felt I had to explain what "Good Mail" was to Dixie. With over a year of me bringing mail with GOOD MAIL plastered all over it and The K-Man eating all her Tootsie Rolls I figured she deserved an explanation. She just smiled and added more Tootsie Rolls to her jar! Thanks Dixie!

Do you ever feel silly hauling in a load of good mail to the post office? Do you know what good mail is? Don't you just love to send good mail as much a receive it??? What do you send your good mail in?

Good Mail with a Twist

My family is AGAIN another recipient of a Random Act of Kindness!
The first RAK is posted about Here .

While I was in Savannah, Georgia I sent several postcards including one to "my boys". I told them how much I love them and missed them along with that I couldn't wait to here what they had been up to with their Daddy... Well, yesterday we got a PINK envelope in the mail with THE postcard in it!!! As the story goes...After the K-man had gotten the postcard in the mail he had carried it around all over. Well, somewhere along the way he had dropped it and The Williamsons had mailed it back to him!!! Too KIND! We have planned to have the K-Man draw them a picture and thank them for their kindness. Doesn't that story just make you smile!

Also in the mail were these ADORABLE personalized note cards form Holly . Oh my, Holly, I jumped up and down for a while after opening my good mail! Thank you Holly!
The K-man was also jumping up and down when he received good mail from Holly's sweet little joy- Annelise! Thank you Annelise!

Could the mailbox have been anymore exciting then it was today!

Is you mailbox exciting for you to?

Good Mail for the Boys!

My boys LOVE getting the mail. We are usually at the table eating lunch when the "mail lady" comes and delivers the GOOD MAIL. To K-man it's like Christmas everyday! As soon as he sees her, "Lets get the MAIL! I bet there is something for ME!" The funny thing is a lot of the time there is something special for the boys. The concept of Good Mail has taken over our home! Thanks to wonderful friends and family Good Mail bring much joy to our days! Here is a THANK YOU to:

The Sabs (Troy, Heather, Reid and Macy) for the Dinosaur Book- How did you know K. is CRAZY about dinosaurs? It is really that obvious?!

Rylan and Jacob for the Bible Story CD and Book. Little Bit dove right into "reading" the book (it tasted good too!)

Annelise for the fun animal crafts! K. had to make them, "RIGHT NOW"! I hope we made them right. We had to guess on a few pieces.

Paw Paw and Gramzie for the shirts, coloring book and book. We were such mean parents and made K. wait until he took a nap before jumping into the color book. I know, I know...a grandparent would never have let that happen! The shirts are perfect!

Thank you ALL for making my children feel special and bringing excitement to checking the mail!

Good Mail Update

I wanted to share my good mail that has been putting a smile on my face (and K-Man's). When you are having a hard or lonely day a little good mail can make the sun shine a lot brighter!

This was a huge package from none other then Holly~ My boys even got some good mail! Notice the PINK flip flop that's now on my key chain (My adorable husband has a hard time holding my keys now- Ha!) The punch out hearts glued to the paper was from A. to K.- along with a dinosaur ball (K. wouldn't give it to me for the picture!)

This adorable blow up Flamingo (that is still nameless) was from Sweet Heather~ It now graces my laundry room with all the other flamingo stuff (A girl has to have a room that she can call her own, right?)
Holly again sent good mail with some Shot Blocks that are to be chewed while running long distances. Because I am out in the boonies we don't have many options for runners, so it will be fun to try these out this weekend for my long run!!! Maria sent this beautiful card, but the words inside were even more beautiful!

Girls, thanks for making my mailbox one of my favorite things!

Here it comes!

Be on the look out for Good Mail!
Kannon has even gotten into the idea of mailing things to people that aren't bills, late notices, fliers...etc., but unique, thoughtful and just plain fun stuff!! I have been the recipient of good (pink) mail and it has often made my day much brighter! I hope I will bring joy and a few smiles through the idea of "good mail"! It is amazing how much happiness you feel doing something special for someone else! There are so many special people in my life- I have a lot of "good mail" to mail!!!
I took pictures of the packages just because they looked neat sitting on my table.
