The Simple Things in Life

So we finally finished getting our house ready for our renters. We went over the house on Tuesday night to finish a few things. Zoe had just started to crawl and had the whole house to explore. Her favorite thing was this little cubbie of our Entertainment center. She was laughing and thought that this little "cave" was the neatest thing! It was great cause it kept her busy for a while! It was pretty sad to finally say goodbye (well at least for 18 months) to our house. I took Zoe up to her room and I no surprise, I started to cry:( I know I am pathetic, but it motivated me to try and fix up her new room.Posted by Picasa

New Year's Day 2010 Hike

So for the last three years (I think it is three!) We have gone hiking with Marsh and Krissy on New Year's Day. I think that is the only day of the year that we actually go hiking, but I don't know why cause we really like it! This year we went to a place near Coon's Bluff. Zoe was super tired, but was great the whole time! We finally got to use our hiking pack that Kevin got for his B-Day (thanks Mom and Dad) and Zoe enjoyed being able to look around. By the end of the hike she had fallen asleep! What a fun tradition!Posted by Picasa

Warning! Gross (and Cute) photos below

Zoe loves her dogs, Diesel, Gunner and Sadie! I am constantly trying to keep her from torturing them! She loves to grab their collars and their ears! She also likes their chew toys more than her own! However, the dogs are spending more time outside these days because I just can't keep up with her crawling and the dogs' naughtiness- I can't get anything done:) But I am glad she likes them and she loves to laugh at them.
Zoe is following in her mother's footsteps!! The other day I caught her sucking on Gunner's tail (I know totally gross) but I used to do that to our poor dog Banjo. One thing is for sure, Zoe has a great immune system!Posted by Picasa
