Blue, was not the colour of Ocean. But its attachment to borderless blue sky has made it impossible to retain its true colour-colourlessness. And when sun sinks below the horizon, ocean treacherously turns into dark, full of enigma & mystery. The colour of ocean, changes like the weather, unpredictable. So, this blog serves as the indicator to show my changing feelings, qualms & notions from time to time.

I want to Thank Her
My AIESEC journey has came to an end on 30 June 2013. One of my VPs asked me to rate my team experience, I rated my leadership experience as bad. He then further asked me if it was because of the mis-match of my vision and their characters, I nodded to him. I think the moment when I nodded my head, I knew I have failed terribly as I resorted to blaming others for not being able to catch up with my pace or expectations.
To best summarize my failure was, I failed to groom leaders out of them, nor to be able to inspire creative capacity to the level that I expect. Being a big fan of John C. Maxwell that advocates one of the golden leadership principles, that is a true leader creates more leaders, I was clouded by strong sense of guiltiness at that point of time.
It was until 3 months ago, I teamed up with her to start experimenting on frying lotus, because I convinced her into believing that lotus snack could be a relevant, healthy substitute of pop corns and everyday's snack. We did the process together, she was kind of merely following my orders, I felt weird too to instruct her. I done the studies, preparing the materials, much were covered, the only thing was to fry it, that's the part I was afraid of, so I let her to do it. So, when everything was done, I sat down and asked her about her feeling if she felt uncomfortable about the manner I conducted myself throughout the experimentation, she said to me that she did not feel the slightest offend, and she felt that I will be a good leader or an employer one day, because she equated a leader is a doer. Only by setting a good example, only can he convince and lead.
Thank you, mum. You believed me when I doubted myself. I knew the things that you don't mention doesn't mean I am good at it, I knew there are pretty much rooms for improvement.
I will never forget feedback given by my teammates in AIESEC during the last feedback session. I need to be a good listener and learn to trust people more.

Music Showcase 2011
Music Showcase 2011 was held in Experimental Theater inside UM.
I never realize UM has such a place, it's quite spacious, but not as big as a stadium. I especially like the PA system over there.
I never realize UM has such a place, it's quite spacious, but not as big as a stadium. I especially like the PA system over there.
I went there alone, with the sole intention of supporting my dear "sis" Carmen Leong =)
When I saw the programme pamphlet, I saw she was the choir conductor, I felt so proud of her =)
The whole experience was very memorable.
I went there alone and luckily found Ali, a friend of mine whom I met in AIESEC. Very happy to have him beside. Honestly speaking, I wish someone special sitting beside me enjoying this very sentimental moment. =P
Don't get me wrong, ok? Ali is a good companion =) Thank you for listening to my stupid jokes and laugh together like stupid too :P
Till the last show, the choir was performing some Christmas songs, and some people were pulled out to the stage. Under the spotlight, I recognized someone familiar, which I initially invited her but said she wouldn't go, mana tau bumped into her pula.
I rushed up to the stage and nudged her. Then, we continued singing Feliz Navidad. That was memorable, somehow exciting too.
Feliz Navidad
Feliz Navidad
Feliz Navidad
Prospero Año y Felicidad.

I wanna wish you a Merry Christmas

From the bottom of my heart.
Good night, gonna resume serious things.

Encountered with BWW twice in a short 2 months
I met with the emcee who hosted a leadership and world open entrepreneurship talk today in law faculty canteen, UM.
We didn't meet directly but was through a woman Cafrey. She taken my name card by chance when AIESEC ran in-campus recruitment drive from 14th - 16th Nov 2011. I was very surprise she has high opinion on me even though we never met before. My first impression was that is this some fraud! I just couldn't accept praises from absolute strangers, and she did it so confidently. ~_~" Isn't this suspicious.
She called me on my phone on Monday and proposed a somewhat business partnership. That time I was in the hurry to attend PTUM Cultural Night, so I just excused myself. She wanted to see me on Thursday and was asking whether would I be free.
I was hesitant whether to meet a total stranger or not at that point of time. I glanced at my timetable a while and ponder. Yes, I am free on Thursday lunch hour. Owing to my curiosity and desire to explore new experience, eventually I agreed to meet her in the place she suggested-Law Faculty Cafeteria.
When I reached there, I couldn't identify she. After a few moment of searching, there was a woman sitting beside a guy who waved at me. Ah ha, that must be her. And yeah we shook hand upon our first meet, I behaved like as if negotiating over some multi-billions project HAHAHAHA.
The rest of the conversation, I would like to keep it personal. One thing I could tell you is that believe in Law of Attraction, it seems like chances happened in the way how and what people envision on his/her mind. The desire to be an entrepreneur is no longer a vague dream. But I am not that type of person who LIKE and ACCEPT new thing so easily. Similarly, once I choose to like it and accept it, there'll no turning back, it's either do or die matter.
Do you know, the world is so small a place. The guy sitting beside Cafrey is the emcee who hosted the leadership and World Free Entrepreneurship Day international event which I had attended in September this year. Mr. Yeap, is what I know about him thus far. Again, after listening to my introduction and my involvement in various types of activities in university, he was amazed and added that he was a MPMUM too, implying he's a UM grad. The rest of the conversation between him and I were amazing.
Despite what they have said, I am still pondering whether to take up the challenges.
Still have much things to do, got to resume my works first.
Pen off here first.

同时也要boost my own learning experiences
Stubborn leads to failure, tends to blame external factors和inflexibility
For GROWTH, I must embrace failure wholeheartedly.
Tomorrow going back to KL.
Let's the journey starts then...

Vow not to be a Disorganized person is not a SYOK SENDIRI issue anymore!
After reading an article titled
12 Tips for an Organized Desk
then spent a minute in reflection
I found out that I was very disorganized at my desk back in my hostel.
My mum doesn't need to ask me if my examination was around the corner,
she just needed to take a look at my desk.
the more disorganized my desk was, the more I've studied in the day while she's gone for work.
She knew. She smiled. And I was relieved that she's satisfied.

Sometimes, I purposely made my desk looked untidy with books stacking one another just to give a convincing sight to my mum that I read a lot.
If you were to take a glimpse at the height of the stacking books, you probably could be well reminded of the Mount. Everest.
If you were to take a glimpse at the height of the stacking books, you probably could be well reminded of the Mount. Everest.
This habit followed me to my University life.
The university books are thicker than anything else. Imagine you have to carry one of these books in your bag and walk around the university as if wandering around in the park. My sweats back then were never taste salty, I bet you know why.

That's part of the reasons I want to popularize the idea of eBook, eTest Papers, eNotes etc. Everything saved in a 1.5 inch pendrive. If I could achieve it, my juniors will treat me as a saviour wakaka. But the main point is not to be their savious lar.
I've been grown accustomed to disorganization despite despite learning so much organizational skills, isn't this irony? Haiz... Something gotta be done. Otherwise, I will be starting my new semester having little difference from previous two semesters. Time flies, didn't it?
I, LEE CHIA CHUN, hereby vowed to be an organized person from today onward & will adopt "Clear a 1 foot by 1 foot area" policy before I leave for the day.

15/07/2011 A Day that I don't want to be in facebook
That doesn't mean that I am always on facebook. It's just that something that I don't want it to happen all this while has happened. I have sensed that this will come, but deny it every time. I saw it in my dream, but I erased it every time. I am sorry that I have to write them in as vague as possible.
In time, we will meet and have to face each other. He would have bitter feelings toward me because of that weird coincidence that happened. It's a strange thing that you can become someone's enemy without even have any contact before. Perhaps he tried to say something to me. But I avoided him. Coz an angry man will not be rational in his speech.

Right now, my feelings are in a total blend.
I am anticipated for his coming, to know this person in a better sense.
... am afraid something bad would happen between us. His prejudice against me is the major obstacle in forming mutual trust and stable friendship.

... am disappointed about myself for being a loser. Firstly was because I couldn't do anything, for someone's decision did not stand me in good stead. Secondly, I didn't make myself clear enough.
... am intimidated coz he is intimidating. Hmmm... not the look la.
... helpless coz I duno how to handle such a situation.

Hapless, despair moment.
I couldn't be honest as the way I usually was, because this time it's different.
I told myself countless time that I must be able to look beyond the circumstances at times. I must prove I can.
So, let bygone be bygone.
I must get rid of the selfish idea (partly because I am not good at being a selfish person) that I must win in this competition. And I shouldn't view it as a competition in the first place. In fact, I guess I nid to continuously losing. Haha.

Cheers, for the uncertain road ahead of us.

My 1st day in a English Debate practice
1 word to describe my experience: Tiresome
Tired to keep pace with the lengthy and fast flowing words from the experienced speakers. Obviously, I have a long way to go and need a lot of efforts. For now, I don't dare to foresee any chances of success of speaking in front of Dr. Chandra, which is our debate coach. I would love to continue watching the debaters debate to the bitter end. They tried with passion, that's alone has impressed me a lot.
When coming back from the debate, I bumped into with several friends, they asked me where did I go...I just said I went for an activity, but unwilling to reveal what activity was that. U know I dun look like a debater, telling u the truth would only invite shame, which I think so... haha.
I am extremely tired. Good night guys.
