HAPPY 3rd Birthday to our beautiful twins

Our babies turn three today. It is amazing to think that three years ago we were in the final stages of delivery. They were born after midnight 45 minutes apart on May 4th. Our families stayed overnight in the maternity ward anxiously awaiting two unknown but already loved beings.

Now they are so big and so independent and have such completely different personalities. What is even more amazing is we are in the territory where they will remember all of this perhaps. We can't wait to see what they'll learn this year.

Happy 3rd Birthday Zev and Orli, love, Mommy and Daddy.

Remembering Uncle Stanley

Today was a sad day because Uncle Stanley passed away. His wit, sense of humor, intelligence and love for his family will be missed. The twins, as well as us, loved him very much, the world lost a "mensch" today.

Moving again!

Ok so after months of searching, abandoning the search, reluctantly picking it up again, searching in other towns, we finally found something we can call home. It is a townhouse, near the city and we are looking forward to raising our kids there. The best part is the great park just out the front door.
So because life has been really busy we haven't posted in quite a while.
In between the major house search we did some stuff and the kids are talking a bunch more and recalling events and telling us all about their busy days while we are at work.

Zev got a real big boy hair cut, but the curls remain and along with it the blond hair. So far his hair seems very wavy. He's talking so much, one day we were all on the couch and mommy and Orli were fussing around because it was near bedtime and Orli was putting up a fight. Daddy just says, "Girls" almost shaking his head. Zev listens for a second and quietly says "I love girls". He sings often and likes to replace the words with "booty". Such as "Twinkle, Twinkle my booty" or the "Itsy bitsy spider climbed up my booty" he cracks himself up.

Orli is just hilarious too, she talks very clearly now, and she's very imaginative. She talks about the baby dragon that is outside, Zev gets upset so she says "Its ok, its just a baybee". Orli loves having her nails painted, wearing her "Fish" costume which is the Little Mermaid and she says "Ari-ewl". She is the little girly girl that mommy wasn't. Orli loves Grammy's shoes, holds a purse and loves her "lisssstic", she'll sit there for a long time smearing lip balm all over her lips and face. She's not afraid of anything, like at the petting zoo and she's armed with a cup of feed with the baby goats knocking her over.

They are eating a little better, but we do get some food strikes still. We never know what they are going to like, everyday it changes. But they sure are getting bigger, they may be around 28lbs each.

Here are some photos of the last two months.
