" The limits of your strength are unknown until they are tested. It is in that moment that you'll realize there are no bounds."

I am so sorry for the lack of attention to my blogging...I am trying to overcome some temporary mountains of challenges and heartaches.........but in all of it....I want you to know I have been blessed......just keep us in your prayers and don't give up on me........
I'LL BE BACK!!!!

ALL DOGS GO TO HEAVEN......
the BIG furry one.....
left our family on Saturday
and my ♥ is still breaking...
he was such a HUGE part of EVERY day....
On Sunday when we came home from church I opened the door and expected him to be laying right there waiting for us like he had for the last eight years and it really hit me that he wasn't here any more.......he was a faithful loving boy.....I mentioned to my boyfriend/hubby that if Heavenly Father was in need of a TERRIFIC pet......Hakko was His man.....that little guy LOVED everything and everybody....there wasn't a mean bone in his body.....he was a true gentleman...
He LOVED wearing Zachary's shirts and when we buried him.....he was wearing a favorite Freedom {skateboard shirt}....we layed a BIG fluffy pillow under his head and because he loved to pull Zachary down the street on his skateboard.....Zach placed a small one in with him....
He was happiest laying on your feet and be as close as he could be....
One night Brody drug his mattress in the living room to play guitar hero all night and this is how we found Hakko the next morning......

Always could be found doing the happy dance.....
I am missing him something terrrible........he just kept getting weaker and weaker and stopped eating and hardly would drink anything and his back legs weren't working good at all and so on Saturday we made the heart wrenching decision to have the vet help him go to sleep....those pic's at the very top were when we were telling him goodbye.........

He loves our children and our grandchildren, our neighbors and my preschool kiddo's the cats and the birds......I can only think of one time he has growled at anyone in our home and it was a Sear's man looking at our fridge years and years ago....he doesn't bark.....he laughs in his sleep out loud....he shakes your hand if you ask him "Who's your daddy?".....and he gets his own leash when you say, whisper, or spell the word W A L K...in all the years we have had him there have been no "accidents" on the carpet and if he happened to be a little windy {if you know what I mean} and especially out loud...he would get embaressed and cover his face with his paws.....if you get mad at him..he cries...real....huge...tears.....he loves laying on the tile under the air conditioning vents especially when it is hot outside.....if the doorbell rings or someone knocks he ALWAYS thinks they have come to see him and he makes a mad dash to the door...he loves riding in the car and the pickup...and I don't think he thinks he is a {{{shhhhh}}} a D. O. G. he thinks he is a people!
WE LOVE HIM!
These last several days he doesn't seem himself....
at all......
and
I am worried and I am SAD!

"One of the hardest things in life
is having words in your ♥
that you can't utter."
~James Earl Jones
It has been too long since I have posted anything and YES I KNOW this is waaaaay too many pictures for one post.......but if anyone followed me on facebook they KNOW what our two weeks was like........Alot I will leave out.....I will share mostly pictures and maybe write my thoughts another time...over the couple of weeks it seems as if everytime I looked up....which I do often because I am cloud obsessed....I would see a ♥.....by time I found my camera or tried to take a pic with my older than the hills camera...they would start losing their shape.......I feel that throughout the crazy roller coaster ride we were on...little valentines were sent from Heaven reminding me that someone greater than I was aware of what I and our fam was going through....it was an eventful few days and quite honestly I don't think I have ever in my life put on and taken off panty hose as often as I did in those few days.......

Remember the paper flowers I was making......there was a purpose trust me...I know I had said to someone that one night as I sat making these and my boyfriend was watching some animated show on T.V......We looked like prime material for a nursing home....
You have probably all heard of that movie
Thankfully for good friends like Bobbi and Peggy...I was able to pull together enough cutie patootie things to make this good sized pile...plus continally making decorations for the wedding dinner we hosted...with the economy the way it is and my hubby getting hardly any hours working in construction and my income was zilch until school started again.....I wasn't even sure if it was going to be possible.....but you know what it all came together and it was beautiful! I appreciate EVERYONE who helped from our daughter's Stephanie and Nicole and granddaughter Taylor and our son Zachary's girlfriend Shawny....to my sweet and giving friends...I have {two} Bev's and a Nathan...Bruce and Kathy...Amy...Kim...Patti...Carli...and my niece Coleen...my sister's sweet Mother in law in California for loaning me an outfit for the dinner....that was over and above....I am probably forgetting someone and if I did I am so very sorry....
This is a tree that I freehand cut for my daughter Nicole.....she did the cutest thing for Dallas and Jill at our wedding dinner.....she had everyone make leaves with their fingerprints out of three colors of green ink and sign their name for a sign in for the party...it turned out adorable but I failed to take a finished picture.....she framed it and gave it to them.....SO CUTE!

Well we had
TWO FUNERALS AND A WEDDING AND THE WEDDING DINNER AND A MISSION CALL AND MY PRESCHOOL CLASS STARTED AND MY MOTHER'S BIRTHDAY...

it was miserable HOT!
The night turned out wonderful...the following morning was the funeral service for a wonderful man {a police officer} who was the father of one of my students who was murdered doing his duty...two other officers were shot in this thing that went terribly bad as well...this picture is one of the many times he came into my classroom....here he is reading to my class and I had just written on the board BE A HERO...that is one of his sweet little sons at his knee.....SO ♥BREAKING! What an honor it was for me to have known and associated with him.
This next pic is of our son Dallas as he was leaving home for the Temple to be married......he doesn't look very happy does he? He is kinda beamin' from ear to ear isn't he?
This was right after Dallas and Jill were married...
it was
CUTE and DELICIOUS!

she was smart to go with a short wedding dress

Remember it is August and we live on the surface of the sun...it is BLAZING HOT! I get beet red and I don't sweat pretty at all...but I am SO HAPPY that Dallas is SO HAPPY!
This is Dallas with our youngest son Brody and our oldest son Zachary had to work{sadly}...

4 of our 5 Children.....
Our new daughter in law Jill with our two girls Stephanie and Nicole

For some reason I was watching Jill as the photographer was snapping pictures and I couldn't help notice her cute feet...
and I took this of her as she was kneeling down......
We got home from the temple wedding...made a sandwich and shortly after the mailman came and believe it or not on this very same day as his brother's wedding our youngest son received his Mission Call...WHAT A DAY!!!!! Of all times for my batteries to die.....at the mailbox when he was checking to see if it was there.......SHOOT DANG IT TO HECK!

We were invited by our daughter Stephanie to come out to their home and have his friends and family that could make it at 4 o'clock to be there when he opened his call...and then we could hurry back home and dress for the reception that evening....

Would you look and see who made it......Dallas and Jill....hahaha.....they are looking at the wedding video that Stephanie put together for them for their Reception.....probably NOT the place they would LOVE TO BE but they didn't want to miss this.....

One of his best friends Dallin surprised him...he had been in Alaska fishing trying to earn $$$ for his own mission......

One of his best friends Dallin surprised him...he had been in Alaska fishing trying to earn $$$ for his own mission......Here he is being silly and acting like Johnny Carson's Karnak the Magnificent and thinking really hard where this call might be sending him.......
Brody went up on their staircase so that everyone could hear and see.....

We ♥ the South......they treated our Dallas VERY GOOD and we are so thankful and forever indebted to the good kind people in Georgia and Alabama.......we are praying that Brody comes in contact with those same kind of people in North Carolina.....actually his mission will include parts of Virginia, N.C. and S. Carolina and Tennessee and Georgia.......and my Boyfriend's sweet Mother was born in South Carolina.......so the South holds a special spot in our ♥'s!
I don't have pictures of the Reception back yet but as we {the parents' and the Bride and Groom} stood in the receiving line.....my nephew Landon and his cute wife had read on my facebook the week before how I was craving a green chili cheese crisp from the El Rancho in Holbrook where I had grown up......well these two cute kid's on their way from New Mexico came through Holbrook and when they came through the line they said we have a surprise for you Aunt Kayola....it's in the kitchen in the fridge....OH MY STARS!!!! How thoughtful was that? After the reception and we were cleaning up...our little granddaughter was walking and dancing around in her Mommy's very cute pink high heels...

The next day was a very full day too....we were blessed with the opportunity to go and help prepare my husbands' sweet Mother for burial and then that evening was her viewing...during our drive to the mortuary Friday morning it was shining bright but right over us was a few nice sprinkles and then that evening the most beautiful full rainbow was over the mortuary......all of it so beautiful......I thought the casket spray was beautiful and with the added bouquets in pinks and lavendars....the room looked beautiful....
Our sweet little granddaughter Addy.....she is the one who just had ♥ surgery recently.....she is such a little sugar.....

Grandpa with our two little granddaughters who have a story too......these two were born by the same dr. in the same hospital 12 hours apart....not planned..........that seems to be how our family rolls....my own daddy passed on our son Zachary's 16th birthday......why our little world works this way....who knows???
Our granddaughter on the right broke her leg the week after her sister had heart surgery as well...
Here is the beautiful rainbow that was over us during the viewing....

The next morning was the beautiful funeral Service for Phillip's Mother...all three of our sons were pallbearers along with their cousins...
My three sons are on the right...Zachary, Brody and Dallas{who drove back from Sedona where he and Jill were on their Honeymoon}
We are missing one from our immediate family in this picture....Shawny had to work but was able to go to the graveside service....where Phillip offered a beautiful prayer and dedicated the grave so that it would be a safe resting place for his Mother's body.....

Our little granddaughters wanted some flowers from Grandma's bouquets to keep as a remembrance....
This is my hubby and his siblings...Paula...Beth and Brent...they lost their younger brother a couple months after I lost my Dad....he left four children...we think and feel that there must have been a wonderful reunion on the other side of the veil...his Mom and Dad along with his brother......I can honestly say I am so very thankful that we believe in life after death....other wise these happenings this week would be very hard to understand and to accept.
And then that evening we {my sister and her sons from California and our children except the newlyweds} celebrated with my Mom her 77th birthday which was the next day on the 8th.....she loves Panda's and Coldstone....so she had a Coldstone birthday cake.....it was a nice visit for everyone....
