Customised sewing
Below are more projects done during the months that I didn't blog.
This was done more than 6 months ago.
Ordered by Teacher Dila for her friend who was giving birth soon then.
Art folio for little toddlers on the go.
I'm glad that I have ordered some checks and polka dots fabric from Kokka. I tend to use lots of checks & polka dots, strips and plain fabrics to go with busy prints, I think that they go really well.
And a Birthday pennant to go with the art folios order.
This gave me the idea to sew another art folio as birthday present for Hanhan's friend ;>

Customised pouches
Made these for a regular customer. Used the fabric ink pad and alphabet stamps bought quite some time ago. I like how well the customised name tape and the fabric blend, as if they are part of each other.
Fabric used: Cotton candy stripes(orange)
When I cut into the fabrics, little did I know how much I have miss sewing. Hope to gain more energy soon so that I can sew more.

Embroidery
Remember the name embroidery I did last year?
One of the receivers, Patsy, likes it a lot and wanted something similar for a colleague, so she emailed me.
It always makes me very happy to receive a reorder and so is it in this case, because not only have I received an order, more importantly, this is an affirmation of my effort :)))Btw, it's been some time that I last use my embroidery machine, I really should make good use of it so that my money (or rather Daddy's) spent are more worthwhile :P

Just for you
This is a commissioned project received about a month ago.
I got an email from a lovely lady (not sure whether to mention name or not), who is getting married soon and she wanted to do some customization. I wasn't not confident about accepting the project as I couldn't handle the embroidery machine well, but she assured me that the sample I had made for her was great and she believed that I could do a good job. Isn't she sweet?! You see.... we do not know each other before this project, she actually got to know my email because of my sister's friend. She is very encouraging and really really nice...
Lucky for HL to get such a lovely lady as wife, may we wish them all the best and a loving happy marriage.

And these are what I have embroidered.
A total of 15 Pashmina shawls for her buddies. The shawls are so soft and comfortable, I really enjoyed embroidering and running my fingers through them.
Initials and date on handkerchiefs, to mark that important day of their lives.

So far I have only 1 person interested in my PIF. Will keep my PIF open till I have 3 people playing along, so if you are interested, you can still join in. Don't worry Wen, I will proceed with yours, even if no one else join in. :)

It's pink again
This is the bag I mentioned in the previous post. I have been procrasinating about it, because I know I need to figure out several things before I can start the project and the uncertainty just stop me.
It has a matching tissue pouch cum purse and brooch.
Some details.
I hand-sew the exterior fabric to the batting because I don't have walking foot for my machine, and I expect it to look horrible if I use machine. It's a lot of work but it beats having those horrible lines. The pattern book didn't mention about the use of batting, but from the look of it's completed work, I'm sure they used batting.
I also added magnetic closure.

Pink pink pouches and I won a give-away
For the past few weeks I have been working on these orders.
.jpg)
When I put them together, I realised they are all pink. I'm not a dead hard fan for pink, basically I like all colours, but I do like how the different shades of pink combine together to make it so sweet.

And not forget to mention, while I'm giving-away my customised tissue pouch cum purses, I won a give-away from Tina of Needles 'n' Notions. I'm so..... lucky :))) Can't wait to use the aprons with Hanhan and do some baking with her.

100th post give-away
It's already the 100th post for my blog! Although I don't see many people leaving comments on my blog, but I know that they are some of you who popped in to have a look at my blog from time to time. Having this blog really motivates me to do what I like to do.... now mostly sewing. And knowing that there are people who are interested in what I'm doing really makes me feel good :) So to thank you people for being interested in my blog, I'm going to customise a tissue pouch cum purse for one of you. You get to choose one of the following design and a fabric from my range of drill.
