Entry before ni ada tulis 2 weekends berturut-turut ke Integomb (in subtle way). Week 1 tu nak hantar few documents yang Kakak nak(ni pun after 4:45pm baru dia free), week 2 lak dia dapat outing selepas 5 weeks terperap kat sekolah so nak keluar dengan kami and also ada few documents dia mintak printkan. Banyak benar documents eh? Adalah kisahnya tu.
Sekolah chose her as 1 of candidate for Yayasan Khazanah(YK) scholarship - early harvest programme. Memang langsung takde advertisement pasal ni di mana-mana media social YK but they contacted selected schools to send the nomination. Integomb nominated 31 candidates. 24 orang untuk global, 2 orang untuk golongan family berpendapatan rendah dan 5 orang untuk program ke China. Kakak termasuk dalam 5 orang tu. Kalau dapat scholarship ni, bulan 1 buat A-Level and YK akan hantar either ke Tsinghua University or Peking University. Oh! Ini berdasarkan results PT3, final year form 4 and trial exam tapi kan masa application tu dibuka, SBP masih di dalam trial lagi so tak taulah camana.
Proses pemilihan scholars ni ada 5 stages. Doakan Kakak lepas all the stages ye. Tengah tunggu results stage 1 la ni sekarang ni. Stage 1 adalah essay writing.
Kakak was pretty firm dengan her choices of courses yang nak diambil. Babah dia suggested Electrical Engineering tapi dia tak minat. Her email to me on last Monday:
"
Tak nak amik electrical engineering. Paling paling pon boleh amik mechanical engineering. That's it. Chemical Engineering is my first choice. Mechanical Engineering is my second choice and Computer Science is my last choice. Okay ibu. Bagitahu kat babah. How's adik?"
I'm okay jek with her choice. Dia pun yang nak hadap all those things. We can give input from our end but it's up to her to decide. Tu my style lah
