I am VERY sad.
And nope, its not their fault.

People come in out of our lives. We cant do anything but remind ourselves that the truth of life is everything changes, and nothing is permanent.

This weekend will be a tough one. Three people leaving at once, and one more in a few weeks time.

But its for their future, so i just have to bear with it.



Yes. see the picture up there? yaya, i know i put too much make up.. but SOMEONE did it for me. i remember going to school with my NATURAL and pretty face. LOL i look like some doll up there. haha!

Anyway back to the point. The four of us, (YES, the awesome four! *winks*) have stuck together since.. since i dont know when. LOL. from the same primary school, and until form5.

We did almost everything together. 5K1 people should know that whenever there was a group work, 4 of us will be in a group. Whenever there is a pair work, we will also partner each other. Sweet huh? YES. i love them so much!

And now, one will be leaving for perak, one is in form6, one more will be leaving for the states soon, and one more.. is blogging this. LOLS.

Anyway my focus today is the one who sat with me in form 2, 3 and 5. The one who put up with my anger, nonsense, sadness, cheeky times, and of course, my lazy times. The one whose work would be the 'original' copy and mine would be the photostated one. The one would made working with the librarians much easier. I can go on and on..

Yes. Its Wendy Chong. She will be leaving tomorrow for perak. She will be reporting on Sunday at University Teknologi Petronas, Tronoh. She is under the Petronas Scholarship to do Chemical Engineering. And how often will she be back? only during semester breaks. My heart just fell when i heard that.

Dear Wendy, if u are reading this, I wana thank you for everything you have done for me. I know i wasnt and am not the best kind of friend, but you are. You are the greatest friend everyone would wana have. And im glad i have you. =)

There is just too much i want to say to u, Wendy. Too many things to thank you for, but i cant bring myself to do it, coz im almost in tears already. All i want to say here is THANK YOU so much for the great times, and im so so sorry because i know i have done so much wrong. Yet u didnt bother, u forgave me and till now we are friends.

And im proud of you Wendy.. really! You are always ahead of me in studies, but i didnt mind because you are a humble girl, and offered your help whenever i needed it. Yeah, it was everyday actually. hehe! And most fo all, i was just proud of u. And i still am! ok, u get my point right? haha u always do.

So take care of yourself Wendy. If your roommate there sucks, tell me. I will take the bus up to fight for you. LOL. altho i know u are the patient kind, and im sure u can bear with ur roommate la.. after much practice with me for so many years. hehe!

I cant write anymore la.. im so sad! anyway wendy, i am just a phone call away ok. Do take care! and Please keep in touch! Love you loads!

Another person that will be leaving for perak this weekend is Mr Tay Zhi Wei.



Got too much to say about this guy. LOL. dont wana say what i wana say in public ok.. read the letter!

The 3rd person who will be leaving melaka is Elaine Suah Ee Leng.

Too many pics of her, cannot upload. haha. She will be leaving for seremban, where she will be doing her internship with SKF for erm.. 4 months? haha.

well, thats all i gota blog today. the main focus is wendy chong la of course. hehe! i love ALL of you so much!

Wasteful Community

Just watched Oprah. This time it was about wasting.. wasting energy, food, etc.

So lets stop and think.. how much are we wasting in our life? The Earth is already so old, and yet we are taking so much from it..

So thats why.. i wont update my blog. hahaahahhahahaha. ok fine, i LAZY to update ok. But yalar, on computer also waste energy ma right? LOL.

And my PSD letter not here yet. ISH so so frustrating!!

haha so this means in a few weeks time i will leave my life in melaka.. my friends, my family. And you know what? i get so so sad when i think of those days in school.. and those sweet memories..

YSD

I very malas to update lar.. but coz of YOU.. yes YOU.. i update lor. haha..

I took the 5pm bus up to KL with mum on Monday. Dang i HATE puduraya. seriously.. i dont think i wana come back so often when i study in KL. and IF i study in KL. lols.

So we arrived, then this that this that. My aunt cooked good food that night. Seriously GOOD food. better than restaurants..

Next morning i got up and got dressed.. Reach Sime Darby Convention Centre just before 12noon, which was my registration time. And i was the last there la.. haha and i saw cheong's bag so i sat at his place. He was inside the interview room already.

FYI, this round 30 people were shortlisted. Which means they only kicked out 2 from the last round. How depressing! haha. The wait was seriously torturing.. i almost vomitted while waiting.. coz i ate such a heavy breakfast which aunt prepared.

At last cheong came out and we talked for awhile then he had to chao..

So i waited till about 12.25pm.. and they asked me to go in. There were 3 interviewers.. One is the head of the property division, one more is the head of the industry division, one more is the scholarship head. =) The forst two are men, the last one is a lady. There are seriously nice people..

So we started to chat. Seriously it was an enjoyable one. He told me that this interview was just to see our personality and if its really what Sime Darby wants as a member of their company/scolar.

So we had a long chat.. long and enjoyable chat. I very malas to type the details.. but yes i really did enjoy myself ok. haha. and i came out of the room at 1.10pm. Cool huh? LOLS.

yada yada yada.. i went shopping, ate lunch then caught the 5pm bus back to melaka.

haha thats all. very the malas to update. thanks for reading this sucky post anyway! hehe!

oh yes, one more. IF i get this, i might choose YSD over PSD. YSD offers pre-u overseas ok! and if i reach minimum requirement afte rpre-u im automatically given undergrad scholarship. and after that 'most scholars build their careers with sime darby'. lol.

*prays hard*! but they asked abt JPA la so i dun think i will get. =(

Sukacita dengan ini dimaklumkan bahawa calon-calon yang berjaya menerima tawaran Biasiswa Persekutuan JPA akan mendapat tajaan bermula dari peringkat persediaan sehingga tamat pengajian di peringkat Ijazah Pertama jika mematuhi segala syarat yang ditetapkan dalam Surat Tawaran / Syarat Penajaan / Perjanjian.

Dengan ini dimaklumkan juga bahawa surat tawaran penajaan Biasiswa Persekutuan JPA akan dihantar mulai 16 Mei 2009 melalui pos laju kepada calon-calon yang berjaya secara berperingkat selewat-lewatnya dalam tempoh satu (1) minggu sebelum tarikh pendaftaran di pusat-pusat persediaan. Tarikh pendaftaran di pusat-pusat persediaan bagi calon-calon yang telah menerima tawaran biasiswa adalah seperti berikut:-

We watched Wolverine. OK i know Hugh Jackman is sooooooooooooo hot.. but i didnt really like the movie? haha.

Anwyay after the movie we went to MPH and spent about 40 minutes there.. haha apologies to mr tay who had to wait for me. i was looking for recipe books ma. LOL.

Then later we jalan lorrr.. then balik rumah. i very malas to type ok today..

and OH! i so feel like watching angels and demons.. so.. anyone free? hehe!

ok lar, i wana watch my dvd d.. hehe!

OK so where was i again? OH i was baked the cake. ok so here are some pics hehe!

After baking, aunt came to fetch me.. to temple! for candle light procession. Reached about 6.30pm.. was still bright then.. and there weren't many people there..



haha. OH and guess who decided to join us this year??

MY COUSIN!!!!!!! hahaha. LOL damn funny la he. lols. and BTW, he is HOT ok!

Anyway was still early so i went into dana room to get the air con. hehe! bro cedric was there, with andy, harmony and bro ah khoon. After chit chat a while, brother cedric mintak tolong go carry the float to the shrine hall. Oh i met may ling and her family too! its so so so nice to meet up with her after such a long time! hehe!

THERE! i was carrying it. Andy blocked. ISH!

After i carried the float, still too early.. so i went to kacau the budak keciks selling ice cream. LOL. too free right? i know! hehe!

So at 7.30pm the service started.. but i was busy. Coz there was a complication/miscommunication. So in the end i had to find extra 1 incense boy, 1 bunga rampai girl, and 1 flower girl. Nasib can find the incense boy and bunga rampai girl very fast.. flower girl, look look couldnt find any young girls wearing all white. Nasib baik i saw shu min, so i asked her to help. hehe! Thanks so much shu min!

So at 8.00pm the procession started. Shamila was just in the nick of time.. lol.

The flower was freaking heavy! Too much water i guess. Supposed to walk 3 rounds around temple.. but the end of round 1 my hands shaking d! haha but tahan la.. hehe!

After that was a short service at the chettiya.. After giving our flowers to be put as offerings, OMB (oh my buddha), our hands were numb! and pain! haha..



Then that mr jason walter tan see wei suddenly come to me and sha and ask us to help with the lowering of flag. We agreed. UNTIL Andy came to disturb and told us that the flag very very tough to lower. The tension of the string was very high.. and seriously difficult to tarik the tali. LOL me ans sha try try try.. damn susah! had to use both hands to pull the tali. LOL. lebih-lebih lagi our hands were numb from holding the flowers. haha

So we cari guys to ganti. ALAMAKS. no one wana do? coz they all know its difficult. Asked so many. All tak mau. Ask bro russell.. he say he sudah tua. LOL. ask bro simon, he say he old also. Bro simon suggested uncle woon. WTF?! hahahahaa. fyi, uncle woon is like 60+ or 70 years old d.. hair all white d. ISHness. haha. in the end after much persuasion, Andy decided to do it. But still need one more. So carik somemore.. in the end we ask sister tracy to help.. coz if we ask sure no one wana tolong wan. haha. So she got bro ah khoon to help. in like less than a minute! ADUIS.. lol.

Hehe after lowering of flag, Wesak activities are officially over. =)

There were many people there by then.

So i was ready to go back to aunt's place and cut the cake i baked.. and celebrate her birthday. But my dear cousin, mr calvin suah jake ginn, said he wanted the monk to tie for him the string.. the one most buddhists wear.. LOL. and guess why?

Coz his mid term exam coming, and our guess is, he have not started studying! LOL. DO NOT follow his example my dear readers.. haha!




So while waiting outside..




LOL. Soon, we left temple.. and headed back. Papa bought food.. haha.. not vegetarian la but i was too hungry so i ate.. just didnt eat the meat. LOL.

Then.. it was THE moment of truth.. THE test to see if the cake baked with LOVE boleh makan tak. LOL.

THE cake! *smiles proudly*

AND dang! its delicious ok!!!!!!! haha.

Being with my family, sharing the laughter, was the best way to end my Wesak celebration.

I sincerely do not know if next year i will be around for Wesak or not.. even if i do, i wont be able to help so much or participate as i did this year. So yes, i gave my all this year. Tho i was very tired, lack of sleep, had to do stuffs i have never done before (sew the flowers to the lorry, and go up to the lorry, be vegetarian for 4 solid days), i enjoyed myself very much. At the end of the celebration, im happy. OVERJOYED inside out. =)




OH yes, being vegetarian is really fun. Seriously.. starting from next week, i have decided to be vegetarian once a week. =) but belum decide wat day lor.. hehe!

beloved chettiya.

So, the night(or rather morning) i slept at almost 3am, coz i waited for my hair to dry only tido. At 7.50am, mummy woke me up. Yeah, i was LATE. as usual and expected. haha! i took my bath, and then i realise i dont have white pants! Sms-ed shashi to ask how.. he say duno. So watever la, i pakai la my jeans go temple with Seck Kia Eenh Dhamma School (SKEDS) t-shirt. hehe!

wet morning. =)

Aunt picked me up at 8.15am. =) oh yar, the wind/rain was SO heavy the night before, that so many trees were down on that morning! and it was a wet morning anyway. hehe! So i reached temple at 8.30am.. straight went to the stall.. supposed to be jaga flower and candles and forms la, but got people there d so i jaga liang teh and ice cream. its just side by side anyway. haha! oh ya, i of course wished those people happy wesak la! and it was a super day coz i was still high from JPA. and i havent told my teachers and friends yet. LOL.

met with andy, shashi.. who else? too many people la! and i decided i better not help out in pindapata coz this year everyone wearing WHITE. and i threw my white pants into the dirty baju bakul the night before.. so nvm la. jaga kedai. =)


p/s: pindapata is the offering of rice to the monks. The public will give offerings to the 12 monks in the form of rice and others, when the monks walk out of temple, to jalan ong kim wee, and make a turn back into gajah berang. (ya, i knw my explaination sucks. lol im trying ok! =D)

so i jaga kedai la.. business was OKAY la.. coz everyone was busy with pindapata and the other side of the stall.. PLUS it was a cold day, so cold liang teh and ice cream tak berapa laku lor. Anyway after pindapata, my family had to make a move for lunch. So i left, at 11.00am =( didnt want to leave lor, but had to.

Next stop was : Vegetarian lunch! haha!


Our annual plans.. Wesak day, after temple = Vegetarian lunch. Aunty belanja. hehe! At a restaurant at melaka raya.. Mei Lin i think is the name? The food was GOOD! FYI, i was vegetarian from wednesday till saturday. Cool right? i KNOW! haha and its fun. seriously. talk about it later. hehe! So here are the pics la of the vegetarian lunch lol.

After lunch, we headed to mp/dp to get a present for my aunt. =)

Then, reached home at about 2pm. Wasted no time. I baked. YES. i BAKED! Baked a cake for my aunt's birthday which we were going to celebrate that night. So yeah its not an expensive cake but its baked with LOVE ok! My aunt was happy.. she said "I appreciate it very much. Elynn so busy also make time to bake a cake for me." yes.. coz i love my aunt so much! =) well, ALL my aunts and uncles! hehe!

So i baked till.. 5.30pm. Alot of work ok! Bake d gota wait for it to cool, then coat it with chocolate. And no sleeping.. coz the cake might get burnt into the oven! haha! So 5.30pm i took my bath, and by 6.00pm aunt came to fetch me. To temple for candle light procession! haha!
