OPRAH. I love her. I want to be like her when i grow up. Make people's life happy. Help those in need. But for now, i need to work hard to fulfill my dreams. =) ok i know i just posted something 2 hours ago. But its now 4.29 am, and i still cant sleep. Dont think i want to sleep tonight. hehe! I cant wait for Mother's Day. I think i have plans for something. =) OH YAR, please do spare some time to watch this video. I was left in tears after i saw it. haha.

I'm freaking serious! Its been some time since i have gotten angry and exploded.. and today, its proven that all this while i kept it inside. ok lets see..

- I got my license 6 months ago but I'm still not allowed to drive by myself.
- I am not allowed to mop the house (mum;s scared i might slip and fall)
- I am not allowed to bake when they are not in.
- I dont have any nice DVD's to watch.
- Everyday i wake up, i have to think of what i have to COOK for my lunch!
- Sometimes, theres nothing to eat/cook.
- Friends are so hard to get hold of to go out.
- I am BROKE.
- I'm getting fatter.
- My freaking stamina is dropping like HELL. thanks to NS. and rotting at home.
- Family members keeps thinking i will get YSD. HELLO?? Wake up to reality la PLEASE!
- I stay at home whole day long, nothing to do. so, i SLEEP la! and i get weird dreams!
- the FREAKING weather is damn HOT!!!!!!!!
- I want a nice blouse.

what else? for now thats all. but im seriously frustrated! and i got nothing to look forward to for this weekend. coz KL trip cancelled. BAH. dang it. im just frustrated.

sometimes, i feel like i should get involved in dangerous activities.. like what Bella did to get over Edward in New Moon. Or get hit by some moving truck or something. Then life will get interesting. better than rotting at home. GRRR!

CHANGE.

Last Wednesday night, while chatting to wen chiang, we suddenly decided to go out on Thursday! So, on Thursday, Chiang picked me up from my house at 9pm and off we were to GSC Cinemas Dataran Pahlawan. We met Anselm, Joan, Kevin and Cheong. So all together there were 6 of us.

We watched The Uninvited. haha. It was scary, but Cheong kept potong-ing stim. LOL. But it was a good movie i guess. =)

After that, we went to Kota. Chat chat, and at 1am chiang sent me home. Thanks chiang for the ride! LOL.

Other than that, nothing interesting happened. BAH~ what a life. i cant even drive out. im always stuck at home. Dont blame me that i sleep at 5am and only wake up at 2pm.. i know its unhealthy, but i have nothing to do! at night can use my laptop.. morning too hot. SLEEP la! haha. so anyone... lets go out la wei!!!!!



CHANGE. I have began to realise that the people around me changed. YES. They changed. Some for the better but some, its not in a good way. I try to advise them indirectly, but its up to them if they wana change or not right?

Anyway KL trip cancelled. !@#$%^&* which means i have nothing to look forward to this weekend. so Ross, still wana go massage after meeting? hahaha. Oh well, i'll spend my whole week at the temple lar, praying. Yeah, i will love it. =)

ok i stop here. dang its 2.37pm and i just took my bath after i woke up. wonder if theres anything downstairs to eat..

So, most probably next Sunday I will follow her up to KL, book a room in Hotel Legend, and go shopping! She's not working on Monday so we'll be going on Sunday and coming back on Monday! YAY! hahahaha. Life's good. LOL.


anyway yesterday, 26th April, my dearest friend whom i spent 2 and a half months, 24 hours a day with turned 18!! Its none other than miss KELLIN LEE FONG RUI!

Ohana.

Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind. (or something like that). from lilo and stitch. =)

this little brat is about 2 years old. my nephew!

these are my nephews. back in penang. and the BIG one is up to no good. haha.

so yes. my family. im an aunt. a young, hot, sporting, sexay, smart, (whatever good points u can think of) aunt. haha. i have 6 nephews and a niece back in penang. aint i lucky? haha. and 2 of my nephews are older than me. swt. LOL.

my family in penang. and kl. my mum's side. i love them loads. as much as my dad's side.

this is my family from my dad's side. too bad i dont have a picture like this of the family in penang. well, this is the immediate family. got expanded family. haha. and its huge. LOL. but i love them all.


so my point is, i LOVE my family, and they are always my priority. ALWAYS. though each and everyone of them has their own attitude that some may find annoying, they're still family!

so yes, one may not be able to 'tapis' the words that come out of her mouth, causing her good intentions to look bad. and yes, i have to admit i got pretty pissed before, and hence made a scene. sorry, my bad. haha! but gota say, its not entirely MY fault that i lost my temper.

and one more, doesn't mean that when one is younger than you, what they say and their words are useless. sometimes i like to learn from kids. =)

what point am i making again? haha. sincerely, no idea. i just wana let everyone know that i love my family loads!

see that old man there? i miss him. my uncle. passed away last year. he used to be so jovial and bubbly, but cancer took his life away. his death was expected, but im devastated that i couldnt make it back for his funeral. coz of National Service. Curse you NS! and now, i still feel guilty. i will be back in penang soon (i hope) to pray. and may he attain eternal bliss of nibbana.

i lost 3 family members in 2 years. depressing? yeah. more than that. my biggest regret from these three incidents is not expressing my love for them. especially my cousin, who passed away in an accident, till today i still miss him tho i wasnt close to him at all. i did dream of him a couple of times. and from these deaths, i learnt the value of life, and the true meaning of 'live life to the fullest'. so i would like to say here again, thanks to all my family members for their endless support, love and kindness. and everything else. i am nothing without family. =)

to all my friends, i love u as much as my family! SeriouS!! hehe! well, i am grateful to have these people in my life. my family, my friends, my teachers, tuition teachers, and others who helped me through my 18 years of living.

and i promise each and everyone of u, that i will live my life to the fullest!

and come to think of it, its been some time since i have been sad and depressed. each and every day, i smile genuinely. no joke. in my entire 18 years of living, NOW is the time in my life that i see everything positively. Nowadays i seldom get sad and angry. (except when PMS la. LOL)

so yeah. ok this post is crap. so not organised. as for now, may everyone out there be well happy. may my family be well and happy, may my friends be well and happy, may my enemies (if any) be well and happy, may my beloved departed ones and unseen beings rejoice in the merits i have accrued and attain eternal bliss of nibbana. last but not least, may I be well and happy always. sadhu sadhu sadhu. =)

anyway i was up in KL yesterday and today for the Yayasan Sime Darby Scholarship Second Level Assessment. These were the details given :

This is an individual task, which requires candidate to play a certain role as described in a case study.

so yeah. haha! HOTEL! so since my parents needed to work, they booked a room in Legend Hotel! Cool right!

so on Sunday morning, me, sis, and jade (friend) took the bus up. We reached, we went shopping! and i bought a beautiful dress! hehe! after tht we checked into the hotel..

Later at night we took the LRT, then monorail to Pavilion. We had TGI Fridays for dinner. =)

This morning, i got up at 9.15am. Was reluctant to wake up but i received an sms, so i couldnt sleep anymore. Anyway, i got ready and 10.30am, i went downstairs. So i found out that one session, there would only be 6 of us! and i was the only girl for my session. SIGH. met nigel there. haha.

so assessment started. Case study number 1. Individual presentation. kinda tough. one to one thingy. haha. Assessors ask tough questions. Second, group discussion. we got into a debate la. but after a while we made a decision. Third, individual again. Role play, gota act as the consultant for the company, dealing with an unhappy regular customer. kinda fun actually, just a lil scary. haha.
i sincerely dont think i will pass this round, but im proud that i made it though to this stage. only 32 candidates were chosen out of 90 from the first round. The whole Malaysia ok! haha! okok.. enough enough.

took the 4pm bus and reached melaka at 6pm. kinda tiring.. i got that travelling sickness thing. dang, how am i supposed to travel when im stuyding in KL in future? haha. oh well.. LOL.

so i guess i will stop here first. Tho i know theres a HIGH chance i wont make it to the next round, im so happy i go to this round. to everyone who prayed for me, thanks! =)

im working at kumon centre, teaching small kids. on tuesdays, fridays, and saturdays. officially starting in May, but i gota go in all three days this week. and i LOVE the kids! XD

i received an email from sime darby, asking me to go up to KL on onday for the 2nd round interview. *YAY!* but *nervous* haha. so wish me luck! *cross fingers and toes, and anything else that can be crossed* LOL

i GOT matriculation! PERLIS. sigh! didnt want it. wendy and priya also got Perlis. how? dont ask me. no idea. 80% rejecting it, but teachers say take it. but i want overseas degree! *slaps head* confused confused.

LOL. i miss those times. *wipes tears*

and i cant wait to start school again! haha. this friday, the matriculation thingy will be out. i DOWAN to get into matric. seriously. i would rather go KBU. which i so will, and confirmed going, if i dont get any scholarship. in the mean time, i will attend form6 for a few weeks. haha.

what to blog lagi ar? oh yea~ going out with my girls this friday. YAY! this week i TOTALLY burn less calories. sigh~ nvm nvm. haha. btw, im on a non fried food week. LOL.

neways, im most prob going to visit melissa in NS this week! yay! well, tay and johnson are in the same camp. so visit them too la. haha. dang, i miss my NS days. sigh~ =( but im glad i got the chance to attend NS. XD

and im loving my new attitude. SERIOUSLY. before NS i was hot tempered. yeah~ my family and MGSS-ians should know. LOL. but after NS, im much more calm, and im more of an optimist now. 1malaysia

do not read. unless u are willing to bear with my 'anger'. and i might get into ISA for this. LOL.

i have to admit i haven't been reading the newspapers. but i just happen to browse through a minute ago, and there this thing najib mentioned.. 1Malaysia. i guess its something like bangsa malaysia? well, to tell the truth, i don't think that 1 malaysia/ bangsa malaysia can be achieved. seriously.

to me, if u want to create a bangsa malaysia, then there shouldn't be a column that asks "bangsa: ______" on forms. if we are all bangsa malaysia/1Malaysia, then our bangsa is MALAYSIA. not cina, melayu, india, iban, kadazan, etc. For example, indonesians are like that. they are all bangsa indonesia. but theres indonesian chinese, muslim, etc. so, Malaysians, are you willing to give up your bangsa cina, melayu, india, etc and just be called bangsa malaysia? im sorry, im not. i dont think i am treated fairly in this country. i apologise if im too straight forward, its just the truth.

so thats why JPA should send me overseas! to feel what its like overseas.. who knows, i might fall in love with Malaysia all over again! haha. but don't be mistaken, im a patriotic girl ok. its just some policies that im not happy about, and cant do anything about. =)

so, until everyone, well, majority of the citizens are willing to be called as a bangsa malaysia, stop talking about achieving things as a whole without the race barrier, i'm sorry.. but as far as Malaysia and my opinion is concerned, i dont think it will be a really successful idea.

instead, dear government, do something USEFUL with the taxpayers' money. Rather than buying that sukhoi, which to me isn't very necessary, or sending that man to space (i apologize, i don't like him, tho i know its not his fault he went to space. haha!), use the money to build better infrastructures. or maybe not. Malaysia already has 1st world infrastructures (almost), but the mindset of the rakyat is the poison.

so maybe what can be done is, help the poor and underprivileged people, the people who were not so fortunate at birth, or better still, give out more scholarships. is it THAT hard? and please, talking about belilah barangan buatan Malaysia, our MBs and those terhormat people dont even use local cars! the other day the YDP Agong was in Melaka.. and i was on the tesco bridge and i saw his car passing by. it was some seriously hot and elegant car (i would love it for myself!), and not only that, even the police cars that were escorting YDP's car were Volvos! and there wasn't only ONE, but almost FIVE! what? sigh. sometimes.. i just don't get politics.

talking about politics, money politics eh? corruption. shame on you people. supposed to set good examples for the rakyat, but end up, this is what we see. seriously im disappointed. my dad, well, the rakyat actually, pays a huge sum of money every year hoping that the government will do something beneficial for the rakyat, for the future generation, but THIS is what we get? our money swallowed by greedy people who use that money to their own benefit? who would like to live in a country like that? if theres any politican reading this, what i can say is, CHANGE people. or else soon, the rakyat will lose trust and hope in the current government. and walla.. for all you know, the next general election, whos the government? go figure. =)

don't get me wrong, despite all the FLAWS, im still proud to be Malaysian. but of course, no country is without her own imperfection. im still as patriotic as ever. i still wake up early every 31st of august to catch the merdeka parade at banda hilir. i sing my heart out to patriotic songs whenever i have the chance. i wanted to put the malaysia flag on the car but dad wont allow. i stand up and still when negaraku is being played. i respect the Jalur Gemilang. I make sure it doesn't touch the floor. i like the history of Malaysia.. tho im not good at it. i enjoy seeing P Ramlee shows. i TRY my best to support Malaysian goods. I menyahut seruan kerajaan. i don't take drugs. i dont smoke. i dont rempit. theres so much more that i do, to show my love for my country. i think thats more than enough to show that AKU ANAK MALAYSIA.
and i know. Malaysia is now depending on me. ME. Pemudi negara. as the saying goes, "pemuda harapan bangsa, pemudi tiang negara". wow, hehe.. reminds me of mr rengga! hehe!
so im prepared to fight for her. i mean, not the WAR kind la. in this century, technology is important. HUMAN CAPITAL. so here i am! ready to serve. *better still give me JPA right* haha.
wow, this is like a pre-Merdeka post. however, despite all her flaws, i still love Malaysia.

so i went back to my alma mater for her sports day. =)

so as usual last night, (or rather, this morning), i slept at 5am. woke up at about 10.50am. And i checked my phone. guess what? haha. yay! got sms to inform we to go for my job interview! AT LAST, no more rotting! haha!

but i wanted to bake choc chip cookies, so elaine suah rushed me. saying if i dont get ready by 11am, she wont send me to buy the stuffs i need. apa lagi, RUSH la.. nasib baik sempat. =) oh yar, btw, my cookies tak jadi. =( nvm. dont ask. im depressed. haha!

so after that i went to school! i seriously miss school. haha! i know i said i will never step back in MGSS, but its one hard thing to do now! i miss being busy for sports day, camps, koku days, rushing for classes, duties, scolding people, etc. haha. oh yeah~ and the feeling of being free once the 2.40pm bell rings. i miss those times. =)

oh well, life is about moving on isnt it? and sincerely, i cant wait to start college! or even form 6! i mean, i MIGHT to go form6 while waiting for my college intake! haha. but GBS! duis.. i will be new there.. and i bet on the first day, i will reach damn early (6.20am latest) and i will be LOST!! haha. wah~ imagine till so far. =)

so today (since its already 3.12am) is Melaka Historical Day. so, Happy Birthday Melaka? haha! well, i decided to ditch my gym session coz my juniors/friends need help in their studies. so im going to the study room from 11am til 8pm! =) but i seriously think my brain karat d.. still need to read abit. hehe! oh yar~ and i LOVE small kids! cant wait to get my own! gahahahaa! jk. cant wait to start working officially in may! *winks*

ok, tho my mind is not really at ease now, let me share with you some nice sayings:

well anyways, i'm kinda down now. i see my friends getting called up for many many interviews.. but i only have like.. TWO. the miserable number 2! but, i should not fret. so what if i dont get any scholarship (TOUCHWOOD).. perhaps there are better offers for me when i graduate. =) life is always about ups and downs isnt it? so yeah, i gota bend abit, then i can be happy. hehe!

SLEEPOVER

XD) someone decided to call it off, just coz another someone couldnt make it. like, wtf? after planning so so many days, me talking with my sis about driving him/them to and fro, suddenly cancelled? hello, please PLEASE correct me here if im wrong to be angry. but oh well, at last i told myself, no one getting angry. its his life. i can help all i want, but at the end of they day, its he himself who decides whats best for him. sigh~ but now, we're not talking to each other. he's angry. !@#$%^ as if im not. bontot.

well anyhoo, SOMEONE came back from NS and didnt tell me. bah~ forget it. BTW, i still have no confidence on getting a scholarship. well done, elynn! ISHness.

and btw, i didnt get the petronas interview/educamp. i was like !@#$%^& at first, but now im better. sigH~ but still disppointed lar of coz. now only hoping for either sime darby or jpa. oh please i need one! *cross fingers and toes, and whatever else*.

hmm.. i guess thats all. im wearing my glasses again after about a year. because i feel like studying again. LMAO. i know i know. kinda silly huh. but i gota read up my biology now, and other subjects. coz my didi needs help. see? am a great jie! XD well, it benefits me too anyway. haha!

THE night.

haha. so i went for the franciscan night at eq. well, all in all i can say that i enjoyed it very much. met so many people. =) so many people that i long to meet for such a long time. here are some pictures. :]

and i also liked the cultural dance.. but the group that performed at the Japan arts and cultural festival or something. hehe! oh and i met mrs kek too! i miss her sooooooooo much! XD

i reached home at 11 pm. coz i waited for wenhao to change clothes just to get a pic with him. =)
so im happy. at LEAST i didnt have to go mp or dp.. it would be my 3rd time in three days! haha!
