She's Back

That's right.

My beautiful, happy, talkative girl is back!

Her molars are mostly in and her front, bottom tooth is well on it's way.

I am overjoyed!

Not another one!

Guess what.

This morning Dan was playing with Alayna and noticed that she is getting yet ANOTHER tooth.

I am not kidding.

Not only is she getting four molars all at once, but another bottom tooth as well.

Sigh.

Poor girl.

At this rate she will have all of her teeth by the time she is 18 months.

Looking on the Bright Side

Alayna is getting FOUR molars at the same time.

Boy, I didn't know what I was in for. In fact, I didn't even know that they got molars at this age.

Well anyways, her other six teeth have been nothing compared to these molars. Actually, her other teething experiences really only consisted of some whining and clingy-ness.

So, for the last couple of weeks, I have had a "different" baby.

As a result, her naps have been totally out of whack. And I am having a heck of a time trying to get her back to the good napping baby that she was.

BUT I am looking at the bright side.

Even though her napping is not what it once was, she has slept through the night (7:00pm-6:15am) the last two nights.

Yahoo!

That makes the weirdness of her napping all worth it. Right?

I really am trying to look on the bright side.

Short Leash

Alayna is teething.

Despite the fact that she wants to be held ALL of the time and starts whining the INSTANT I am out of her sight, it hasn't been too bad.

But I just don't think I can take much more of the attention.

I need a little space. Not to mention the fact that I actually need to accomplish something around the house.

All well. I should be happy for an excuse to not get the laundry done. Right?

Oh, and the funny thing is. She is getting a top canine tooth.

So before long, we will have us a little vampire baby.

Weird. But funny.

I got it!

Some more pics of Miss curly hair. Her hair is getting rather long so I have been trying new styles to replace a trim. I just can't bring myself to cut her hair...yet.

Not one, but TWO!

So, as I have previously mentioned, Alayna is teething. She is in the process of getting her bottom, front TEETH...yes, that's a plural. Her second tooth broke through the gums this morning. And her first tooth is still not all the way in. Poor girl.

As you can imagine, life has been quite interesting. My days seem to be filled with holding a cuddly, whiny baby. I LOVE the cuddling, just not so much the whining part. Lucky for me there is way more cuddling than whining. Thank goodness.

I am hoping that we will soon be back to normal and there will be no more teeth...for a while at least.
